So glad I don't have a smart phone and nor do I use face book

If they can listen to what i'm watching what the hell else can they and would they be listeinng too

I find this to be very intrusive.

What's your thoughts guys.?

{Ed001's Note - it has been possible for your mobile phone to be tapped and the microphone used since it came into being. You don't need to have a smart phone for that mate.}

 
Imagine if the Royal Mail opened your post, copied it, put it back in the envelope, and then delivered it. Well, google have been doing that electronically for some time. It's not just your phone. You have no privacy.

You reckon they use this to government advantgage to monitor the public.?

{Ed001's Note - yes, just like they did when they were tapping phones illegally etc. They will use anything they can to keep people in check.}

 
To be fair, how many millions have mobile phones, checking everyone is not going to happen

{Ed001's Note - isn't that exactly what GCHQ and the CIA were doing? They were recording everything, checking everyone.}

They have software that searches for key words. If you say enough of them, I believe its 3, in the one conversation or txt message, then it trips the filters and you become a person of interest and they actively monitor you.

I would also say that anyone with anything to do with sites like this either running or posting would automatically flag up. Really don't think there's much you can do about it, if they really want to monitor you they will.
