If the Earth is flat, then why are all the other planets which I have viewed personally via the £1300 telescope that I have, all spherical in shape but the Earth be flat?

Now i'm not a flat earther in any way but how do we actually know that the earth is round?
I read a lot about tesla and he was a genius. He didn't agree with the theory of gravity at all.
Even with einsteins theory of relativity he said there was glaring errors in his work.

Gracie, you'll always experience discrepancies with theories, especially ones as old as Einsteins, technology couldn't prove certain parts of the theories such as Gravitational waves (which has recently been proved, allegedly), something which Einstein predicted.
You could apply this to most of Einsteins work, he was well ahead of his time, so too was Tesla, but again technology was not strong enough to prove or disprove any of their theories.
Unfortunately, the likes of myself and I would assume yourself are not intelligent enough to comprehend the equations nor the science.
Southampton87, why would a ball have a gravitational field? It's not got a core, it doesn't have mantle, nor does it have a magnetic field or the mass to produce gravity at a strong enough level.

Oh one other point I'd like to put forward Southampton87, is that Sanogo works on Oil-rigs I believe or something to that description, so he has some genuine knowledge of how it works, where as the stuff that we're talking about here is well above our own pay grade. To really understand it, we need to be able to fathom the numbers. I can't understand them and neither can 99.999% of this planet, so yeah.

{Ed033's Note - As a side note, no one should ever use wikipedia as any source, as wikipedia pages have page guardians, whereby each page guardian looks after x amount of wikipedia pages and what's on any wikipedia page is purely what the page guardian wants on that page, and a lot of what is on wikipedia pages is purely the opinion of the page guardian.
Even though you can change a wikipedia page, what will happen is that the page guardian will be notified of the change and then they will most likely change it back to how it was before.

Fair enough Ed033, I just used wiki as it's one that most people know. Don't want to be linking people to these random sites which get flagged for apparent Malware (even though it's Chrome and Firefox inventing a lot of it) .
{Ed033's Note - As another side note, Tesla was a super genius, but Einstein was at best a plagiarist and certainly not anywhere close to being a genius. Einstein used to plagiarise anything useful from physics that come into the patent office where he worked.
Also, Einstein's wife was the one that put together some work from a couple of previous physics geniuses and came up with a new theory but Einstein took the credit for that as well. The main stream idea of Einstein is incorrect.

I have seen that the reason we only see one side of the moon is becuase it is like or similar in shape to a orange cut in half
The flat side faces us whilst the heavy side spins outward and that is with there multi million pound telescopes.
If we only have magnetic field becuase the molten hot stuff in the middle spins, why do no magnets on our planet use this type of operation?
Anyway, if you read what I wrote you would see I said I don't think we live on a flat plane. I do think our planet is a lot bigger or different than they tell us the measure is.

Look at the size of a jumbo jet

A plane flys a lot lower but looks like a dot
And a smaller Satellite fly a lot higher but also looks like a dot

It states in the Koran that the Earth is spherical in shape and that the Earth revolves around the central star (The Sun) and the Moon orbits the Earth.
That's 2000 years old.
The Sumerians were very good astronomers and had marked the likes of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury, they also believed that the Earth was spherical.
That's 10,000-25,000 years ago.

I just think it will be different to how they tell us
I find it more fun to look at than anything
But when you have points like you say I don't argue or doubt what you say as I haven't looked to deeply into it but I will look into that now at one point

A flat Earth is Gids smoking gun. Proof of intelligent design, and making it all but impossible to carry out the aliens are God plan I believe the are about to drop. If Earth is proven to be a plain, then u have to assume things like the firmament are true, I. e the near death experience people have of ascending through water. Now I'm not 100% of the belief, however the people that disseminate the info to the masses ad nauseum have been proven to be corrupt.
We have been conditioned to believe that the world is a globe, by the same people and same techniques we deride on this site. In essence, those who mindlessly bash the theory are perpetuating a paradoxical irony.
