Embarrassing, the comments made and not by the male.
{Ed033's Note - i bet there's loads of people about who think they're totally up to speed watching the BBC news, BBC Newsnight and BBC Question Time and don't realise how incorrect they are.

She failed to explain how Trump is racist. Then she says as a white man you don't get to define what racism is. What patronising garbage.
Media now talking about white privilege, white supremacy etc. This stuff is poisoning.
I detest the BBC. The institution is not only corrupt but filed with Jimmy Savilles as well.
{Ed033's Note - yes, British Brainwashing Corporation that exists for one only purpose.

There are disgusting levels of racism in the US, but rather than direct her anger at Trump, this woman might want to ask Barack Obama why did things actually get worse for black Americans under his presidency?
{Ed001's Note - I think that can be explained by everything Obama tried to do being blocked by a Republican congress etc. As for Trump, it can be explained by the simple fact he labelled all Mexicans as rapists. That is a racist statement right there. Any moron that believes the son of a KKK head, as Trump is, that has shown no inclination to distance himself from the beliefs of his father, in fact going so far as to talk about what a wonderful man his father was, is not racist, needs to really look at themselves in the mirror.
All this pointing fingers at the BBC is irrelevant. Hiding away from the real issue of everyone jumping behind a member of the establishment, a man born into billions and then not realising they have been duped into doing exactly what the powers that be wanted. Trump is one of the boys, born into wealth, with a vice-president that makes Clinton seem like a nice person. Still he has been endorsed by the KKK and Nigel Farage, so he must be ok right?}

This is the actual quote.
"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. "
He did insult Mexicans, but I haven't seen the quote where he says all Mexicans are rapists.
I don't like Trump, but Clinton would have been a nightmare for Russia and the middle east.
It's disappointing to hear Chimamanda Ngozi Adichiesay say that as a white man you don't get to define what racism is. By saying this, she is trying to create a hierarchy on the subject, and narrow the conversation, which is a pity.
{Ed033's Note - Another typical BBC set up to try to get people to dislike Trump before he has even done anything and continue to press the racist, politically correct agenda. The American people endorsed Trump when they elected him, now we wait to see what he will do and can do.

If you can read that quote and not see the racism then take yourself outside for a stern chat. Even a generous interpretation of this quote is that he's only calling illegal immigrants rapists and drug dealers, but seeing that represents 6.5 million Mexicans that's a hugely derogatory statement which is based on zero factual information, it is textbook bigotry against a racial minority, so yes, it absolutely is a racist statement. And don't try the 'he obviously didn't mean all of them' card because the message he gave was very deliberate.
As for the who gets to define racism it is not for the person accused of racism to decide whether their actions are racist or not, funnily enough, very few racists can admit that is what they are. In the above video it is not that the KKK have endorsed Trump that is important, all candidates have crazy groups on their side. What is important is that Trump has said nothing on the subject, by not condemning them he shows that the support of racists is more important to him than the issue of racism itself and that is why he is being so strongly condemned.
{Ed033's Note - That's a funny read as you seem to be either repeating the MSM who think they can read Trump's mind or you're saying yourself that you're capable of reading Trump's mind.
Let's face it, no one can read Trump's mind. And no one knows yet how Donald Trump will perform as President.

Donald Trump turned 1 million (given to him by his father) into billions. Not something many would and could do. He didn't generalise all Mexicans as rapists either. He also denounced the KKK endorsement. He's far from an angel and has had bankruptcies, however I'm glad people are not voting for personalities anymore, even long pasts.
Nigel Farage was at the forefront of Brexit, I couldn't care less about the man. He achieved something great there. The BBC comments aren't irrelevant either, spewing garbage as it usually does and corrupt media I doubt is irrelevant.
On Obama, Congress didn't stop him from the mess in the Middle East and the shambles of Obamacare. His insults towards Christianity and his silence on radical Islam.
Obama Has Sentenced Whistleblowers to 31 times the jail time of all prior U.S. Presidents combined. If the truth was to come out on Bengazi, Obama would be impeached. Obama is as evil and corrupt as they come, he is another globalist puppet. I could go on, give me a break.
I'm willing like many to give Trump a shot. You can generalise me with many as a moron, I couldn't care less.
{Ed033's Note - You sound up to speed to me.
16 Nov 2016 00:23:14
Trumps distasteful. So is Clinton. But one wants to work with my country and one didn't. For that alone in glad he won. However some of the rhetoric flying around on both sides is disturbing. The same as post brexit Britain. Politics is becoming more toxic. Just wait till next spring for it to get worse.
16 Nov 2016 18:09:11
Sorry Ed033 but I think you are way off here. The man has made blatantly racist statements and paid next to no tax- while complaining about services mainly funded by tax. I don't like Clinton either but you can't blame the 'MSM' for comments that have come from his mouth. His racist comment have nothing to do with MSM imo.
{Ed033's Note - "way off", what? where?
Try using your own brain on this one; If Trump didn't pay the correct amount of legal tax he'd be in trouble, right? Therefore, he pays the correct amount of legal tax like Clinton. This Donald Trump tax issue is more MSM nonsense.
i think i have never said Trump isn't racist anyway, and anyway how would i know? i'm not a mind reader.
The MSM say he's racist and people just believe whatever the MSM say and repeat it. Isn't that what you're doing now?
16 Nov 2016 19:06:46
If it has come from Trump's own mouth how is it the MSM. If he says something like Mexicans are rapists either he believes that himself or else he is manipulating the people to try and get elected. My point is the MSM has nothing to do with whether Trump is racist or not because you can see him saying the words himself. He is either a racist or a liar in my book. I believe he hasn't paid much tax at all but I respect that you don't because things can get easily twisted. But the MSM has nothing to do with what comes out of his mouth - what about his sexism too.

The way Trump spoke about Mexicans was disgusting. However, although the speech was about Mexicans, I think it was really aimed at a particular segment of the electorate in the US.
There is a large swathe of working class people in the US who are on low income or benefits, and they are very disaffected and feel completely disconnected from the so called American dream. Of course Mexicans are not responsible for their plight, but Trump was better able to identify the sense of disconnect the poor and unemployed feel.
I've said before I don't like Trump, but he is very clever, and he knew exactly what buttons he was pushing when made those remarks about Mexicans. Hillary Clinton only won 3 states outside of the 20 richest states in the US. Poor Americans felt Hillary would simply bring more of the same. But they identified with Trump's rhetoric (however distasteful), and that is why he won the election in my opinion. He offered them a little bit of hope. And it seems to have been enough.
