Video and below description from M.O.B.
In this hard-hitting, harrowing, heart-breaking and ultimately uplifting film about rough justice, Robert 'Bob' White tells his powerful story about getting violently evicted from his Kent home by the local police, in a wilful and excessive display of unlawful aggression.

When Bob tragically lost his wife to live cancer, just a few months later, he dedicated his life to the memory of his beloved wife and vowed that he would do all he could to save the home which contains so many happy memories.

Three years later, after being charged with assault and then affray, Bob's case finally proceeded to trial last week, when a jury of his peers took just 45 minutes to return a unanimous verdict of not guilty.

The incriminating footage shot on police body-cams is included in this film with the kind permission of Bob White, under the well established doctrines of Fair Use and Fair Dealing.

Hmmm. My home was repossessed in May 2011. I was not present, somebody forced entry and changed the locks. Santander repossessed after refusing to help me at a time of 'serious financial difficulty'. This despite them being signed up to the government scheme at the time. I was 7 years into a 15 year mortgage, they refused to add arrears onto the end of the mortgage or renegotiate to 25 year mortgage. I've always felt cheated.

{Ed033's Note - Sorry to hear that.

These pretend Bailiffs come round to take 'Vacant Possession' [meaning no chattels or people there possessing the Property] and they have a meaningless piece of paper on them to try to con anyone at the Property or asking questions at the Property.

Usually at the time the Bailiffs take 'Vacant Possession', your 'name' is still on the Land Registry and stays on it for maybe a couple of months.

So, as long as people's 'name' is on the Land Registry, they are still legally recognised as the 'Owner' of the Property and they can take back or remain in possession of the Property.

'Vacant Possession' is typically what you are told you get after 'buying' a Property.

Thanks for your reply gjdoc. Kind of given up on owning property. Trying to be tax efficient with pension savings but have a horrible feeling any 'financial reset' will wipe me out again.
