i recently heard heather mills on breakfast tv saying she has a box of evidence, do you think this has something to do with paul mcartney supposedly dying in a car crash in 1966 and being replaced by william campbell?

I have to agreewith the Paul McCartney saga, I read a few of the web sites and there are some suspicious similarities between the two of them. The bone structure and the eyes look very similar... I wonder if Heather knew what she was getting into before she married him and why she hasn't revealed what is exactly inthis box

Also, did Linda know what was going as as it wasnt too long after the 'Car Crash' they were married... Did she marry Paul or Faul as it is said... The left handed McCrtney also raised a few eye brows as the 'New Paul' was apparently right handed and was 'supposedly' caught out a few times playing his guitar right handed when the original Paul was a proud lefty!!

if they free up these houses they will only be given to imagrants anyway or people who dont pay into the system anyways this countrys a joke and so are the people that run it...redman matt

Mate don't blame immigrants blame the greedy property developers who charge per room and dont mind how many people live in a house, immigrants would not come here if there was a proper structure say like Australia.

Don't blame the immigrants. There are plenty that come over and contribute.
But the government wants the ones that don't contribute to come over here as well. They allow them easy access to benefits, want them to break the law and let them get away with things British people wouldn't get away with on purpose.
Because it breeds hatred, division and misstrust etc. So when we do go into their country or paint their nation as the bad guys, nobody over here bats an eyelid. Because if it wasn't for ( their type ) I'd have a job/house etc.

Governments don't want the people of the world to get along!

Just annoys me franckie when in london they get million pound houses and dont even have to graft for it. my uncle has just emmigrated to new zealand and had to have funds AND a job before he went and just before he left told me that if he falls out of work he has 6 weeks to find other work or he will be on a plane back here! we shud have something similar but instead we dont even have proper checks at ports which allows thousands to enter per year and then lost...redman matt

Frank Have you been to OZ?

All they do is twist about the lack of structure over there and if you had ever visted like I did to the west coast recently you would agree, however back to the point I agree with you nothing to do with immigrants so many empty houses in the UK not being used due to a greedy few who want an area to be developed and make a killing that coupled with this arse of a government it is not going to get better
Agree · 0 · Disagree · 0
I have a few mates who have emigrated to oz and i know how stringent it is to live there, people who move down under have to contribute or they are out,and yes matt it would pee me off, as for the checks at the ports if the government really wanted to stop it they could but there's no money in it, they are more interested in fleecing a sure thing and that is us.

maybe not the best place to ask this question but its the place with the knowledgeable people. But does anyone know anything about proposed changes to the council tax system? I've heard rumours about them charging more if you have spare rooms. Like say in a three bedroom council house but only two bedrooms are in use. There's rumours of them charging more for the spare room. Anyone heard anything of this?

{Ed033's Note - This maybe a possible housing benefit cut under certain circumstances if you have a spare bedroom in your council or housing association home.

K cheers Ed, any further info or suggestions where to check it out?

{Ed033's Note - You could phone your local council and say you'd like to speak to someone about council tax

I have been told that, would not surprise me at all, i dont suppose i could get a rebate since i have 3 bedrooms and there is me the wife and three kids?

It sounds to me like a different way of trying to acheive what they were trying to do before but it fell through, there are a lot of for instance 3 bedroom council houses with 1 couple living in them like when the kids have grown up and left home and an old couple see out their days in the same house but with two empty rooms. They wanted a legislation the force you to move into a 1 bedroom to free up space as the council house waiting list is massive. To be honest I agree with it, a lot of young families cant get a mortgage at the minute and theres thousands of 3/4 bedroon council houses being occupied by couples or single parents for upto 50 years after the other spare rooms have been vacated.

Matt_RFC

{Ed033's Note - 1 million properties in Britain lie empty. 350,000 of these, for over 6 months. And yet, 2 million families need a home.

Matt i don't agree, my mum lives in a council house for around 40 years we have all left and my died died about 9 years, she has tried to down size to either a 1 bedroom bungerlow or somewhere nearer me or my sisters , they will only offer her a run down flat in a dodgy part of liverpool, plus also the desirable parts off the city the council will sell there houses if say a tenant leaves/dies etc etc
its just a money making scheme and will prob increase chav families to have more kids instead of paying something towards the rent.
frankyscouse

Yes this is true they are doing it here in n.wales after 2012 and will be charging 16-18 pound per room per week.

Has anyone else noticed the large amount of army recruitment adverts on the radio the last few days? heard the same ad at least 6 times today. seems a bit strange with the recent cut backs and job losses in the forces. preparation for another war?what does everyone think?

They seem to be targeting school leavers what with the gcse results announced yesterday.

Of course taking on a load of teenagers means that they don't have to pay as much in wages just the minimum amounts.

At the same time the jobs they are cutting are the more experienced and thus more highly paid men in the mid 30's and over.

So thats all there doing, cutting experienced men on higher wages and replacing them with lower paid younger men who can be trained up.

Nothing sinister no war plans or anything, just Torie economics.

That sound about right?
Agree · 3 · Disagree · 0
Thought school leavers were 18 now unless that hasn't come in yet i know it affects my children {Ed001's Note - you used to be able to join the army at 16, I forget what it was called, Junior Leaders, possibly.}

Remember those recruitment officers on ferenheight 911 ? They were deffo targeting young kids in poor neighbourhoods.

You can join the army at 16 but you end up doing an nvq and training for about 6 months or you can join the real army like i did at 16 and 10 months, you dont get paid adult pay or starting working towards your 22 year pension until you are 18 though (they dont tell you that until you are in!), what a con!

Hi,

first time poster although I've been checking out the site almost daily since I found it about 6 months ago.

I like reading the posts by Matt_RFC, franklyscouse etc.

I beleive all the talk of corrupted governments, worlds elite and general baddies that influence our lives and keep us distracted but my question to the Ed and other posters is this:-

Do you beleive there are good guys out there? and by that I don't mean normal everyday people like you and I.
I mean people with as much power and influence as the bad guys! If so is there any evidence of such people and if someone did step forward with the power to say all this is wrong, would they be believed or just dismissed as being yet another bad guy with his own agenda?

DeV ( Liverpool fan ;) {Ed001's Note - I have never seen any evidence to suggest there is anyone out there like that. Just different factions using us for their own ends.}

Good question dev, its hard to define good,i think people do good things that we all would agree with but like edd suggests its prob for hes own benefit, the really good guys like the people who know how to cure cancer/aids free energy , never get a look in.so to answer your question people do good things but not for the right reasons.

I think most of the offspring of these super elite families know no different, therefore are programed/schooled from birth to be what they are its their culture and myself and any of us could well be just the same as them if our parents were royalty/government financier/arms tycoon, we dont know what its like having more money than you could spend in your life and power, they live in their own realm. Flip side of that is they dont know what its like to live my world, what I would class normall, job/car/kids/mortgage and I dont know what its like to live in the 3rd world and admit I dont worry about them when Im sipping a beer watching telly in my central heated house. So I think its a perception thing and I think possibly they dont see themselves as evil thay dont know any different, but status will probably go to your head I would imagine.

Cheers for your thoughts people.
I just think there must be some behind the scenes "good guys" about keeping some sort of status quo otherwise I think the whole world would be a lot more chaotic than it is!
Don't get me wrong, being a Marine I know the world IS chaotic but I think it would be a lot worse!

DeV

To be honest i don't think there are good and bad guys, just greedy.
frankyscouse

I believe there are probably some decent people
in lofty positions (not too many though) but the ones at the very top are VERY right-wing and have that sense of born superiority and entitlment that
Matt alluded to. Add in the the fear-factor and secrecy even amongst different "compartments i doubt there is a powerful anti-military industrial complex group out there , just a few individuals
who have been speaking out for years i.e Noam Chomsky, Michael Parenti, John Pilger and the late Howard Zinn.

I hope there will be a world-wide "awakening" to what's going on. only time will tell...

On another financial issue, I know it's far more complicated than it sounds due to fluctuating markets/currencies, but my question is why can't we have zero inflation permanently & zero interest rates? Surely everything then would be based more on merit economicly.

Supasub

To make it simple, inflation is what happens when more money is issued, it reduces the value of the money allready in circulation, this is why a house that cost 1500 50 years ago now costs 150,000 - 200,000. The system is called fractional reserve banking, ie you can lend out at 10 times your assets, problem is we dont really know the value of our assets do we so they can pretty much do what they like. You must have heard the phrase on the news "The cost of government borrowing is rising" this is why we have inflation, if they dont print it and lend it they dont make a profit on it. If you dare to come up with a more transparent alternative you get shot in your cavelcade in Texas.

Matt_RFC {Ed001's Note - there are other reasons for it too, such as pressure from workers. If you don't give your staff a pay rise each year, you know their productivity will drop. That is not a major amount of inflation, but it is a major reason why it will never end.}
