sort of makes sense why the zionists infuriated the catholic church many years ago. religion is a dying force in my opinion and the vatican have a lot more to worry about today than the jesuits, like money laundering / the occult and sexual child abuse. then again

The winters are terrible, makes me laugh how you have an inch and England grinds to a halt. Survival training was nasty. But the snow hid the dirt.
There were several sports clubs in the soviet era, most famous dynamo, as in Moscow, Kiev, Minsk etc. The army team was cska, the nkvd team was spartak.
As for Philby yes here he's a traitor but I think to play a role for 30 years took a lot. A nice man even if he was treated shabbily.
I needed a name and it was that or famous cosmonauts, who can be difficult to pronounce, or Sophie scholl but thought she'd be too obscure.

Cycling you get to see all the different scenery. Cricket is quintessentially English. And my namesake was a big fan.
Winter sports obviously, skiing, ice hockey, anything involving ice and snow. Tennis as we do have a few players around especially in the women's game, football obviously as well but its a summer game of course due to the winters, don't think the overpaid prima donnas could handle January in Sverdlovsk or Omsk. Chess is popular, again lot of Russian grand masters.

It was a good meeting place. There was a wonderful sense of irony in corrupting the British establishment at a place like Lords. I have found the recent games with australia thoroughly compelling. Also I've gotten into cycling recently with the tour de France.

Your welcome. Never really been a fan of sports in general. Used to play tennis and most of the other racquet based games, needed to stay in shape for all these western fashions, with the big shoulder pads. Got into cricket a bit.

Me neither but my father did. Said you needed them to keep awake in the snow on sentry duty.
Regards tea u would suggest Russian caravan, its the most famous. You heat some up in a teapot on the top of your samovar, then each person can add as much of the concentrate as you need depending on if you like it weak or strong, then you add the hot water from the samovar. A good sized pot should last you awhile and remains hot because of the samovar. Only takes 5 minutes to warm up do you can get a constant cycle if needed. You can even buy electric samovars now. Back in the day if we had no charcoal I was sent out with one of my brothers and the rifle to gather pinecones.

I'm sure that's the intention, but its an unworkable idea and never been and people are coming around to that. Look at the disparity in the economies of northern England compared to southern England, then compare that on a continental scale between the rich northern European countries and the poorer southern European countries. Totally unworkable to force one currency on such widely different economies.

they will try to keep the euro going in my opinion but I also can not see it carrying on unless they change the approach on any loans repayments like the greece bailout ,lets be honest its only temporary stopped greece going under and with the austerity measures in those countries then something is going to happen ,once one country goes it will be like a domino effect.

Ah but you have to keep boiling a kettle, a samovar remains hot constantly, if you have a large enough one you can make several cups just for yourself over a few hours. Much more civilized.

The euro is unworkable and should collapse in the next decade. I think if Putin stopped messing around in Ukraine and actually tried to do things by other means rather than his usual 'i have to prove I'm the most masculine around' so constantly resorts to force tactics he might accomplish more. But then you could never tell him.
I think brics is regrouping and there's some kind of internal dissent with one faction wanting to go one way and another a different way.

Would I be right in saying that brics has been reeled in a bit and maybe under the control of the IMF?
The next group trying to make a break containing no other than Vietnam, Bangladesh, Ghana and Jamaica.

Its for heating water so you can make tea. It uses slow burning full like charcoal. You can use pine cones as well.
Its nice to get a good pot, a small bottle of vodka, put on some music like Shostakovich, Prokofiev or Tchaikovsky.
Not a football person. Keep an eye on spartak for old times sake. Prefer tennis or cricket.

Fair enough. I enjoy a nice tea as well, not constantly on the vodka, its just sometimes nice to have a small bottle whilst putting on some music, reminds me of home. Have you ever used a samovar?
