Never watched "Lost" myself pea. Would you say it's worth the time watching it?
I tried to read a summary of what the series is about and all I managed to do was to get lost.

HaHa you have me intrigued Lurgan Red, I would have bought a 'loose' in my younger days, and I did live very close to a shop which would have sold them in my later years. The Big Ship thing is baffling me though, don't think I've ever been to see them.

7 billion was the figure I saw. It wouldn't be a surprise if it was in that ball park. Its an essential service.
Wasn't one of the "excuses" used in the sell off that state monopoly's were poorly run, in debt etc and that the private sector could do a better job?
In that case then, now having learned how to run a company properly, who's to say that renationalisation wouldn't work?

Didn't the big 6 energy companies over here pay out 7 Billion in dividends last year? Then have the gall to stick prices up 9-10% each and blame "costs".
