Getting the masses on side is going to take a monumental event to happen, I can not see it personally myself people are to scared to stand up for there rights my mum as a prime example who will not question a bill and will pay without hesitation and not question it, she knows it is not right but still pays and she is not a sheep she knows its wrong, I will stick to my opinion that things have to be dire for everyone and ONLY a revolution can cleanse ourselves from the kabol.

I agree with free speech Franky! That's my point! It's ok for politicians to have free speech but us mere mortal man can't use that kind of terminology! Maybe I worded my post wrongly! My point was shouldn't the law effect all of the land not just certain individuals

Not sure Garbo as far as I was led to believe the guards live just outside the Vatican city but I may be wrong as haven't looked into it! Either way for the head of the catholic church living in probably the only city in Europe where the sexual age of concent is lower than the rest of Europe I believe. Think Spain come in second with their age Of concent being 13! Crazy world we live in people!

I thought it was to do with the break up of banks and the amount of money they can hold. If they are holding vast amounts there is pressure for them to loan money to new businesses etc. without that vast capital they will not have to loan to anyone.

another scam banks and big businesses use is getting tax releif for making charitable donations - for example they give donations to debt crisis charities who will give people money toward. their bank loans they cannot repay. the bank gives the money to the charity, the charity then pay it back to the bank. the bank gets massive tax releif and their money back whilest black listing a poor payer and more than likely closing their account.

For me the bible was relevant for the time. but imagine at the time the bible came out if people were harking back to images of cave paintings telling them this is how they should live their life.

it is the same today, although the stories may hold some moral guidence, they have to be translated into a scenario of today. A good annolgy of this is when you were at school having to do shakespre in English, it was like reading gibberish. the English teacher was the translator. so everyone undertood.

The problem with the bible and other books of its elk is that there is no translator and the words written inside are gospel - pun intended.

no one should be living their life based on a book or books written thousands of years ago. maybe learn from the moral messages in there. but don't try and apply them to todays life as it is not relevant

Mainsteram media is a cover up. everything is lies and half truths and they only show the news they want.

An example of this is a few years ago a older guy I worked with who had lived in this countrty for like 50 years went back to the Ukraine for a holiday. while he was there there was a massive phosphorus explosion on a train killing many people and creating a massive cloud of poisoions gas. which killed many many more. apparently it was a terrorist attack.
Anyhow when he got back he was shocked to find out that no one had heard about it.

Surely a massive train crash and poisonous gas cloud travelling across europe is news worthy?
