Weird nonetheless...

It makes me laugh when intelligent people ask why would any intelligent being abduct or tagg any human being ?maybe we have different personalities and so different ,maybe some of us have special abilities ?who knows ,maybe its the same reason we tagg wildlife in its habitat we are still finding out new stuff about different wildlife every year,could it not be the same with abductions?as for travis walton i DO think he was abducted either alien or military ,my guess it was a military black program .
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I just look at it this way, an alien race capable of getting to the surface undetected would almost certainly be able to abduct someone without leaving witnesses.}

My wife went through weeks of dreaming of houses, all different, some she knew some she didn't, but all revolved round grand kids. Not sure of where but pretty sure of who

I watched a programme with Steven Hawking in a few weeks ago on the subject and he said why would aliens travel millions of light years to take a person who are on their own and are most often under the influence of alcohol and or drugs? I think surely they could realise who to abduct if they could come all this way
LP {Ed001's Note - I agree with him completely.}

I had a dream once about being in a swimming pool in Greece, a few weeks later I went on holiday with my family to Greece and on the website for the hotel, saw the exact same image of the pool, still find it weird now.

Indeed i think the stat is we get 110 items of information a second and the conscious brain can only process something like 10 per cent of that, not sure on the exact figures. the subconscious however can process much more data so retains more which filters through into dreams.

Ed, what do you make of some people being abducted and having little chips put in them and when surgeons get them out they disintegrate.
i think 99% of alien abductions are just made up.

JK92 {Ed001's Note - I am not convinced it is anything to do with aliens.}

I think this woman killed herself due to the pressure heaped onto her by the private hospital. We sadly live in a world ruled by the blame culture. Her bosses will have crucified her if it meant them escaping the blame.
Sad that we have created this world where our bosses/managers career plans rule our lives. We are all just stepping stones for them to move up another level.
On a Conspiracy level - is this not what "they" want ?? The common person so frightened of losing their jobs/homes/lifestyles? Who would dare stand up to the system when they have so much to lose now? {Ed001's Note - I very much doubt the hospital would have done anything other than just reprimand her and move on. This whole 'news' story is just nothing and shouldn't be headline news, just let the family be.}

He passed a lie detector and all the four loggers WHO witnessed it......?? Gotta be somet in it...

Matty b {Ed001's Note - a lie detector can be beaten and has been regularly. There might be something in it, but you do only have the word of 5 people, nothing else, so it is impossible to be sure either way.}

Travis is telling the truth, why would he lie? {Ed001's Note - I am never convinced by these alien abduction stories, personally. Lots of people make things up for attention.}

It's hard to summarise McKennas work in a few words but one thing is certain, he never said the world would end on 21/12/2012. His 'Timewave' theory (an algorythm based on a combination of the Mayan long count calender and the King Wen series of the I-Ching) charts the pits and troughs of time, the troughs being 'Novelty' i.e. ground breaking events.
McKenna found that when he overlayed his graph onto an historical timeline major events seemed to correlate with the peaks and troughs of his Timewave.
What was surprising to McKenna was that the Timewave 'stopped' on this date.
McKenna never gave an answer as to why, because he didn't know. He did however suggest possibilities among them:-
The end of linear time.
A change of consciousness.
A renewal of the order of the universe.
etc..
My favourite is the end of linear time, this, he says, could occur if a time machine was invented or completed on that day and immediately we had visitors from the future. He solves the 'Grandfather Paradox' by saying that you cannot travel further back in time than the point of invention of the time machine. Thus linear time goes out the window.
As for McKenna coming to his theory because of a 'trip'? This is an extremely simplistic explanation. McKenna was an accomplished mathematician in his own right, have you ever tried to construct an algorythm?
However McKenna was researching naturally occurring halucinogens and was 'high' on naturally occurring DMT when he was given the idea to combine the I-Ching and Mayan calender into an algorythm, the rest was mathematical hard graft. In particular McKenna was fascinated by the effects of DMT.
This drug has been extensively researched by Dr Rick Strassman in his book The Spirit Molecule. I would recommend reading this book or watching the youtube videos before dismissing McKennas experiences as a 'trip'.

I actually feel sorry for the two radio DJs. They clearly played a prank on the wrong person and now they will probably suffer for the rest of their lives.
