That escalated quickly! they must have been planning this for a while if not months and surely the west has been in on it the whole time, just as they get the approval from the upper house. a couple hours later they are bombing the cr#p out of militia positions. got to say the Russians seem efficient

Battle tactics is not something the establishment would wish to accurately analyze for the purpose of teaching their troops. I'm not talking just about the USA here.
The military teaches limited tactical variability under hierarchical departmentalization in order for their troops to only be operational while executing orders. Like the slaves troops of old their purposefully low battle efficiency serves their masters in case they eventually decide to question their orders and set their own path.
In guerilla warfare small independent groups identify their own targets and execute their own missions without any need for oversight. They do not rely on technology which makes them hard to locate, the little equipment they rely on allows them maneuverability and a much larger area of action, they are not taught to protect assets and preserve structures so they are mostly unpredictable.
If all troops were trained in guerilla tactics when they returned home from offensive wars and eventually reflected on their actions and the motives of those who were issuing their orders, they would turn against their governments with devastating results.

Its the whole thing of as soon as they hit trouble they dig in to return fire but then become static and pinned down. Like in black hawk down. The British army is trained to find the weak point and force their way through. The Russian army just takes it head on takes the casualties and forces their way through. The Americans by going static invited more casualties. Bad tactical doctrine.

As someone in the military myself working along side the yanks, I have seen first hand their stupidity and naivety. They have absolutely no subtlety in their methods either.

She was a lovely young girl. Very considerate. But I do wonder about anyone who grows up wanting to put the fingers in someone else mouth as a career. Especially as it causes pain. Thank god for vodka.

Holy Mother of earth that sounds horrendous! ok you win! but to be fair she could have used the ol "its your fault" cause the teeth fused to the bone, sure she didn't work for Blair?! my favourite are those dentist ads that show the kid all scared going in then coming out all smiling with a sugary lollipop given to them by the dentists "see you next time"

The guy I went to and I say guy because i'm dubious about him being a doctor! the name on his trench coat aka doctors robe didn't match the name on the doctors practice door. first red flag, next where all the chairs and desk (used) wrapped in plastic as if they where shutting down, second red flag. Third red flag and the best was he looked like an Indian version of Donald Trump, half dazed with his mouth open all the time ( the Indian part no problem the Donald Part huge problem)! the lengths of pain we put ourselves through to stop or prevent pain boggles the mind, that's a conspiracy in itself!

cheers edd , yes we had a great time. judging by the refugees crisis you are right. let's hope corbyn gets in power and bring some sanity to this situation. after all, I genuinely believe over 90% of the uk population want peace not more wars/arms/funding blowing the middle east to pieces.

missed most of any news for the past couple of weeks so not fully clued up.
russian troops fighting along Assad only means one thing, the russians know the west want Syria as quick as possible and they are making it officially known to the world that they are not going.
what do I think? I feel for the Syrian people who are stuck with an evil dictator on one side and getting attacked by funded terrorists on the other side.
john kerry is a modern day henry kissinger.

If its UFOs in Russia the main researchers would be Philip Mantle and Paul Stonehill who have written several books either separately or together.
Of course then there's the Tunguska event and Dyatalov Pass incident as well.
