Ed, can you put up my whole post or is it gone?
Anon, most scientific telescopes do not look into the visible spectrum. The visible spectrum is too narrow a band.
They instead opt for infrared or ultra violet. This is what spectroscopy is about. Analyzing frequencies to determine temperature, distance, compositional elements etc.

The fact of the matter is that wether or not you believe in codename satan/god the persons running this world absolutely do, and guess what? They have information they are not willing to share with you.
They KNOW what "god" is. pea

I think also that UFO's can be picked up easier with infra-red.
Read discussionWith reference to my earlier post regarding the Vatican. Why would an organisation representing the Catholic religion spend $Millions of Dollars constructing and installing an observatory with an 'infra-red' telescope? My understanding is that the infra-red telescope can see through space dust and detect objects that do not emit visible light such as a Brown Dwarf - Maybe Nibiru?

Shaun although I agree with you, don't force you opinions as fact.

Read discussionI have not read the book you mention but personally, I am not too fussed with what the church says and does.
Like all organized religions, it exists to extract money and instill fear. Its reading material includes, adaptations of previously written historical accounts, stolen scientific symbolism, fictional stories that attempt to impart morality (allegories) and plenty of nonsense.
All these are combined in such a way, so as to confuse to the point where one would proclaim that ignorance is bliss.
Sort of irrelevant but:
Lucifer = Luc (Read as lus, Latin for light) and Fero (Greek for bringer/carrier).
Why would the creator (->god|dog

Welcome, It's intriguing but I think the lucifer bit applies to a piece of equipment used by the telescope which was Russian built and named by the Russians. I must admit though that the lucifer bit is contained in the very long name of the telescope at a stretch.
