Aaron just go along with it to keep the peace, they are too young to know any better. They can make their own decisions when they are older. I was in their shoes once. Only time I go to church now is for weddings and funerals and both depress the tits of me.

Ryan it wouldn't be fair for me to even attempt to home school my kids. I haven't got the knowledge to even attempt it.

I agree with some PC aspects. I also respect people's decision to follow their particular faith and religion. I just wish these faiths and religions would show us more respect. To which I mean, they're like pushy salesmen trying to get you to buy their product

Some sarcasm from the ed there. I almost missed that. Of course they'll go to school, you have well and truly missed my point on the way the Catholic Church puts their faith across.

Franky I'm with you mate. Once they're old enough, whether they choose to follow the church or not I'll support them

And if you say you are going to home school your children you will be branded a freak/hippie/weirdo etc. How dare you think independently.

Ryan.

Exactly ed. The Mrs wants them christened, if it was down to me I wouldn't bother. The reason I posted was to point out, from an early age the kids are getting got at, almost forced into religion.

I see the religious spiel as tradition nothing more, same thing happened to me a few years ago, my youngest daughter making her holy communion, I tell the wife its a big con, cut a long story short the wife calls the shots on the kids, what I try to do over the brainwashing stuff is give them a ulterior view and let them make there own mind up on what they believe.

Well in that case don't have them christened. why run the risk of having them brainwashed at a later date. It looks like you aren't really a religious type so what's the point.
