Thanks, currently reading David Icke's "The Biggest Secret" other than the lizards running the world thing, its interesting especially his theory that the USA is OWNED by the UK.

Agreed Ed, whichever mob gets in what will be different?

Blair was a Tory in a Labour tie and rest were/ are no better.

How can anyone have any trust in Ed when he's a millionaire anyway.

You expect to get screwed by the Tories, its a fact of life. But your own party? Hard to swallow.

I think Zari is right, people do seem to be more questioning compared to say 5 years ago.

In all likelihood that was a "misunderstanding" of statistics BigRed.
Indoctrination hour, more commonly known as "mainstream" "news", have had a massive fall in viewer numbers. However, that is not because people have no interest in the complex matters affecting the world.
People are becoming aware of the true nature of "mainstream" "news" and are receiving information from alternative news sources online. No polluted-stream media bothered collecting the visitor numbers from all these various sites before making such statements, for obvious reasons.

I mean they always bring in decent imported shows then bury them in graveyard slots where when your at college or work you can't watch them, really irritates me that does.

And I think a lot of their output is total crap, all that embarrassing bodies ad other garbage seriously who watches that?

And at times they over do things just to be controversial.

They do do some alternate theory stuff but for me its the channel that gets watched the least.

Yes Captain Needa. Stiglitz is right about the lack of protest but I've heard lots of people say that. He's great at noticing what has already happened. I couldn't care tuppence if he is a Nobel prize winner. He is boring and always telling us what he thinks of yesterdays news. He offers no great insight going forward.

He is only getting airtime and media attention because his visit is sponsored.

He is essentially a historian.

Ryan, do you not think he has a point about the Irish peoples lack of protest? I agree wholeheartedly that we have been completely screwed when it comes to the Banks and Bondholders. Not for the first time in Ireland the ordinary people suffer because of the cowardice of our politicians. This country continuously elects people, not on their merits, but because of their family ties to previous gobs****s. This is one of the reasons we suffer from lack of leadership. Why would any of them upset the apple cart when the whole political system in Ireland, is based on a form of nepotism.

He also said recently that Irish citizens are not so much bailing out the Irish economy, they are bailing out foreign bondholders.

Well ok Joseph that is perfectly true, but it is also common knowledge in Ireland, much like most of the soundbites we hear from you.

Don't forget who he is a guest of. The Clinton Institute.

The bondholders were happy to make obscene amounts of money in the good times, but when Anglo failed the then Irish government rolled over pathetically and guaranteed the bonds. It was pathetic and hugely embarrassing for Irish people to witness the capitulation of Cowen & co.

So when the bondholders are making billions for themselves we're all capitalists, but if things go wrong socialism will cover their losses.

Pass me the sick bag.

Ryan.

To be fair BigRed, he was talking about what he felt the ECB and the EC thought of Ireland, when he said that. He did say he was surprised the Irish people didn't protest for bailing out the Banks and their bond holders.

I think its to do with when c4 was launched when they had adult content tv shows on they displayed a red triangle in the top corner of the screen. I think its supposed to be a 3d homage to that. But yeah a pyramid and c4 is a dodgy channel. Mort

Agree with pea and Ryan.
Societies nowadays are structured upside down. Positions meant to be providing service to the people like politicians and police officers are filled by unintelligent people with psychological issues, whereas work positions which tend to do a disservice to society like bankers and lawyers are filled by motivated intelligent people.

It all happened very quickly. Santa Rosa police released a timeline - to the second - of the shooting:

3:14:15 - Dispatch creates report of suspicious person walking near Moorland and West Robles avenues.
3:14:19:- Deputies call for emergency asistance.
3:14:25 - Deputies notifiy dispatch that shots have been fired.
3:14:41 - Emergency crews asked to come to the scene.

They discharged 7 shots between them. If you look at the timeline above you can see that it was all over in 10 seconds. So they jump out of the car screaming at the kid and pointing their guns at him. How many seconds did they wait before they fired? One? Two?

This is what happens when people with low IQ's are given a badge and a gun.

Ryan.

So it's a 13 year old child's fault that he was murdered by the police for walking with a toy gun? pea

Ok ed, I understand your point. I'm presuming the 13 yr old would have had at least a couple of warnings to say "put your gun on the ground" etc, even if you were frozen with fear you'd surely naturally comply? Surely the police didn't just ask him nothing or just the once and then just opened fire? Mind you nothing surprises me like that certainly in that country.

The three basic principles of rhetoric:
Establish yourself as an authority figure
Propel the audience to identify with you
Appeal to the audiences feelings

We are programmed during formal education and activated on demand until we overcome our conditioning.
