To be honest him being on coke or with call girls is not the issue, its the police raid to the madams home, ten police raiding a home, yes ten, a so called drugs raid, her civil liberties overlooked, no one present when they searched her home, no phone call allowed to her solicitor, obviously they were trying to find sensitive pictures and audio, more phone hacking going on, top stuff its nice to actually watch the accuser live and not a edited interview.

Read discussionNot quite sure about George but his brother is definately one who has an issue with coke. I think he's been exposed before for being a charley darling. A broker I know told me that twice the father had to bail out George's brother on property deals when the brother had gambled the capital overnight. Talking about several hundred thousand pounds a deal. When the solicitors were asking where the money was to transfer a lot of phone calls would have to be made ending with the father transferring the funds ensuring the deals went through. Isn't the father / family behind the big curtain / decor company? Probably called osbourne?

And to be honest I'm not too into whos been with a prostitute etc. Ok maybe it calls into question their integrity if they are married and the such but private lives don't concern me on that side of things. For me it's more abuse of power, abuse of government / tax payers money, withholding information, abuse of children etc.

Read discussionI think Russell brand is nothing but a wee spoilt brat, who wants his own way then chucks the rattle out the pram when he doesn't, not a genius just a person
Read discussionThat is an important observation Franky. We are being programed to respond in an emotional way to events such as those you describe. Our fear is being used against us, in an attempt to transform us into mindless beasts.
"We all die" is the liberating realization required to overcome this programming. By accepting our mortality we consciously nullify all attempts, by those who rely on fear, to manipulate us. Through this new perspective we are free to be who we see ourselves as and act accordingly.

Its a great idea but we'll never see it. I have zero confidence in the current labour party anyway. Think a lot of it could be unworkable.

Maybe Ed, it live in council accommodation and the rent an council a tax mounts up and services frankly are shocking for the money that's handed over, so I would be wary of them delivering.
But its a better idea than a near feudal tax system.
I've seen a few people in recent days calling for the renationalisation of the power companies in response to Ed's price freeze fiasco policy.

Bit of a laughable article really.
The Chinese are suddenly going to unleash trillions to end poverty and clean up the environment despite having one of the worst records on human rights and pollution of the top industrialised nations?
The UDS Military is suddenly going to get a huge boost in funding in order to protect endangered fish in return for arresting its own commander in chief?
As one of the comments at the bottom said I hope it was meant as satire.

That people avoid paying tax is so far off the radar of our list of problems.
Paying tax at all is more of a problem than people who avoid it.
Tax has no justification for even existing, but obviously you and the majority of people believe that it does. Now that's a problem.
"Tax isn't meant to be taxing" they said. Well why is it called "TAX" then? Hmm? pea

So basically then its the new world order taking over.

Benefit fraud is a problem though. So is tax avoidance. Opposite sides of the coin. Those that can work should work. One of the worst things labour did was chucking billions in benefits at people essentially paying them to sit at home whilst bringing in thousands of low paid eastern Europeans to do jobs the home grown benefit dwellers should have been doing. I fail to see how that was socialist.
