The term zionists comes from the greek zion (read as zeon) which means "devoted to Zeus", the personification of "zeufxes" (unity/fussion) . Zion was the name used to refer to a specific temple, upon which the temple of Solomon was built.
As a label it is used to describe people with nationalistic, authoritarian and totalitarian views. Zionism was regarded as a serious threat by most countries in the 1970s and 80s which had resulted in it being temporarily outlawed by the UN.
The current and common misnomer is that all zionists are people of Judaic faith. Attempts of further identification speak of them as Khazars, people of Khazaria, and at later times as Ashkenazim Jews. Interestingly the first name resembles that of the Roman title of Caesar, while the second contains the label applied to members of the German Nationalist party i.e. Nazis.
An expedited summary from various sources is that a nomadic peoples without evident religious or topographical attachments conspire to implement one world government (control+mind) . They intermarry, adopt local sounding names as they infiltrate countries and conspire towards seizing all positions of power or attempt to corrupt or blackmail the people occupying the ones they do not hold. Once successful they gradually establish special administrative regions inside countries from where they and their puppets rule.
The non-human groups mentioned in your question could refer to any of the Archons, the Annunaki, the Grays, the Reptilians or anything else.
Personally, I find that neither scenario is necessary to explain the current state of human societies. On the contrary they are probably detrimental in that they provide opportunity for further division among our species. Furthermore and perhaps mostly applicable to the dehumanizing one, it increases the possibility for psychosis in people perceiving the aforementioned ill state we are in.

In an attempt to explain this, here's the way I see it at the moment. There are 2 'elite' groups. 1 group wants to reduce the population to 500 million human slaves (who spend their time as slaves on the coastlines) and have a small elite class who own everything and live on a pristine Earth, where the interior of most countries has been returned to nature (This is Group 1's Agenda 21. The agenda for the 21st century) .
The other group may appear to be human but do not think as humans (they maybe clones or possessed by 'Walk-ins' or controlled by Non-humans). This group wants to eradicate all natural life forms and turn the Earth into a radioactive wasteland with only some type of artificial life forms being on Earth. (This is Group 2's Agenda 21. The agenda for the 21st century) .
So both groups appear to be acting as 1 group at the moment in the stated agenda of lowering the human population, except if you're in Group 1, things like the use of depleted uranium weapons (which they said they would never use as they would turn the Earth into a radioactive wasteland), Fukushima, the gulf oil crisis, Fracking, the geo-engineering, climate engineering that ruins the Earth, doesn't make much sense to you as this goes against Group 1's Agenda 21.
So, it's Group 2's Agenda 21 that's being implemented and everyone in Group 1 will be taken out with everyone else.

With 9/11, how do you explain the twin towers being turned to dust before they hit the ground so they didn't crack the artificial floor (known as the 'bath tub') because if the 'bath tub' had cracked, all of Manhattan would have flooded.
How do you explain the 'toasted' cars around the tower complex.
How do explain what looks to be a plane melting itself into the 2nd twin tower at 580mph when it is impossible for that plane to travel at that altitude at 580mph and impossible for the plane to slice through the building steel, like a hot knife through butter.
The best answer to the above is they used unknown 'Black Technology'.
The only reason for me saying there could be a small non-human group at the top is an attempt to answer what's going on in the world. Why would the elite want to ruin the whole Earth, which could lead to the demise of all natural life forms including themselves in the process? Because it's all being done on purpose.
