While I agree with you, Herbie, that there is a cure for AIDs out there somewhere (I believe it's man-made so surely man can also cure it), gaining a patent for a so-called 'cure' doesn't mean it's effective or even useful.

All a patent does is confirm that a product/ compound etc. is unique.

I believe there was a post on here maybe 3 months back. Patent 5??? can't remember the numbers, maybe the ed knows.
Within the cure was if I remember some sort of mercury formula.
