There's no real difference. You already take orders from Brussels. The only achievement Cameron gained was an opt out from political union. I agree regards the manifesto promise. He was pushed into that.

Right more detail.
Lets start on the presumption Cameron honours his promise and steps down.
If the No vote wins the most likely successor would be Boris Johnson. With British withdrawal the tory party would have to heal its splits to concentrate on the election. Even the pro euro mps would have to get on board.
If the yes vote wins then its a succession battle between Osborne, May etc. Again with an election on the horizon the winner has to reach out to the losers. Boris is an opportunist so would be easy. The likes of Gove and Duncan-Smith would most likely as well given the choice. Its the hard core euro sceptics like Bill Cash who would be the problem.
No I'm not suggesting either scenario would be easy. But the tory party has been split on europe before and pulled together for elections.

In fairness Corbyn hadn't changed his views on a lot of subjects over the last 30 years. He has taken stick on this because on a lot of issues he does look out of date. But look who's been wielding the sticks. On some things he is out of date. But on others he is right.
Corbynistas keep saying the labour mps don't matter its the general labour party that matters. And given the large number of votes corbyn received then he could carry a large percentage of the wider party with him whichever way he jumps.
I would dispute he's playing a clever game. If Cameron wins it strengthens his faction, weakens rivals like Boris and gove and gives his chosen successor a free pass to the leadership. And he can use a successful yes vote to try and the tory split on Europe. Maybe unsuccessfully but the chance would be there.
If Cameron loses. He steps down and his successor, likely Boris takes charge of UK leaning even more to the right than last may. Giving corbyn a tough fight at the election.
What corbyn needs to do is pick his fight carefully and look at the larger picture rather than short term gains on Cameron bashing. If corbyn remains anti Europe he doesn't have to campaign with anyone he can on his own and present his own vision. If Corbyn flips and wants to stay in he can still campaign on his own just focusing on the issue and leave the tories to self destruct.
That's a very condensed version of 10k words I've put together on the subject. Very condensed.

Franky corbyn has been anti eu his whole political career. As have many on the labour left. Its the blairite centrist wing that are pro Europe. i'd like to see corbyn stick to what has said for years on this issue rather than short term tory bashing. Corbyn has an opportunity here for long term games by staying true to what he's said for over 35 years.

You have to understand American society, away from the more liberal coasts and big cities, is different to UK society in that religion still plays a large part in peoples lives. Example the bible belt. Given that all socialist regimes in the rest of the world have been tan by anti religious atheists its easy to see why most Americans fear socialism. Remember the most famous settlers went to America for religious freedom.

International crims or spies have more tricks. Probably some of the biggest users are governmental agencies. The internet changed the game.

Assad has plenty to lose, his life at most and his fat bank account at least.
He also has plenty to offer. A Russian foothold in the middle east, air bases, a port on the Mediterranean, and it nicely knackers Americas pipeline ambitions.

Putin will have something. If nato stays out then Russia will act. The arab armies are useless anyway. The only issue would be mounting casualties but with control over all media Putin can keep control for a time unless it gets really bad. Depends what Iran does. And china.

How can you be expected to sort out the rest of the worlds problems when you neglect your own.
Its not just the homeless. Its drug addicts. People with mental illness. Returning veterans who are just abandoned (many of them with psychological problems who form a part of the homeless) repeat offending criminals.
There are plenty of people who need help in this country that do not get it.
I'm not saying neglect the rest of the world. But sort your own issues out first.

For any modern country that is in the top economies of the world to have people sleeping on the streets is a disgrace. True socialism is the war on poverty. Something forgotten by modern "socialists"

Just a theory. But if the real perpetrator was connected then his connections could have framed a scapegoat to take the blame.

Well one face of the European project was to reduce nation states and push the pc agenda. Very successfully. I do think people are now pushing back against this. Is it too late though.

Do you think possible British exit from the EU and the possible domino reaction amongst other countries (possibly Denmark would also look to secede and Greece also maybe) would be against the plan and why the stay in campaign is stirring the rhetoric?
