I don't think anyone seriously wants a full on global war. It would quickly go nuclear. There were enough potential flashpoints in the first cold war and it never happened. The only one then who wanted war was that lunatic Mao. Instead it was proxy bush wars and regional contests between client state.
Now we are seeing the start of a second cold war and its following the pattern of the first.

Also it really pisses me off that to some people everything has to be a conspiracy.
Sure the west and the Saudis are behind Isis. At the high level. But some people can't accept that down at the low level they are just a bunch of murderous thugs following their twisted religion to do as they please.
As I said we're hardly likely to blow up our own plane to give us an excuse for action as we're already in Syria. And the Americans wouldn't do it because they know what the response would be.
Not everything is a conspiracy and people have to accept that there are just murderous lunatics out there that just want to see the world burn.

No security in these countries is more lax than European countries. Especially if you have inside help/ sympathisers similar to the Tunisian beach shootings.
Definitely franky. There were young children on that plane. That's so tragic. Now it gives Putin an excuse to expand action.

I've heard both versions. But its before my time and asking certain questions was frowned upon.
Its certainly believable she was working for someone.
And moscow did/ does have some people in high and strange places.
