Fair dos grow bun. Ed033 I totally agree I, the fact that just about all the seats now belong to the SNP speaks volumes. As for the EU we will be staying in as that will be how they force the ttip deal through. But I will say there are lessons to learned from what went on during the referendum.

Mrs E Sorry didn't see any grovelling apology, in fact I cannot find this at all can you link. As to grow bun28 I will refer you back to redandys post. I am Scottish and can truthfully say I do not know one person who despises the English. I do know they are out there, same as Scots haters in England, but I suspect it is nowhere near 50%. I have lived in and my work still takes me to england all the time, and I have experienced some anti Scottishness but not a lot. I sit beside an englishman at work and we sometimes hangout after it. He has never gotten into a fight in the many pubs we have had a drink in, because he is English. I know people are happy to keep us all divided but I see past it now.

Not sure what anti-English stuff has been written can you post a couple of links from this person. But I do know what you mean about not knowing who or what the source is. Just this week we have had the Scotsman reporter caught posing on twitter as someone else so he could abuse SNP MPs and members without recourse to himself or his newspaper.
The reason to swap from newspapers is clear to everyone on this forum, but as with everything you read, fact check it first. As for no questions asked the only reason we have such a swing in Scotland is because we have started asking questions and the powers don't like it.

Mrs E surely you know why they were sacked, you seem to know a lot about what they write and have a definite opinion on at least one of them. One was sacked for daring to talk about bigots and the other was sacked for posting their support for the sacked journalist. Courting controversy in Scotland means writing and talking about sectarian violence. that's why we can not end it, for fear of what will happen if you do. True to form Mrs E trying to incite a perceived hatred of England in Scotland, when in fact we just hate westminster!
