You're absolutely right Southampton. But if you said that with the bus thing I bet 70% of the population would do it. Is it because we are taught not to question things and blindly follow (plus walking around sedated by alcohol and coffee) - probably. Or because the majority are too stupid/ apathetic to find out - also probably.

One of the major problems faced by governments worldwide is an aging population. It puts a strain on finances due to pensions, public transport and medical care. Plus the elderly for the most part cannot work or help the country. A virus that targets mainly the elderly, with a high mortality rate among those 65 and older, especially with health issues, would be mana from heaven. Coincidence?

Is it about fooling people though or just going with the most widely accepted theory and teaching it as fact? This has always been the case partly because the majority of the population couldn't cope with the actual facts and need some definitive answers to stop them panicking. Deep thinkers like yourselves can cope with the fact that the answers are far from clear cut but I'd say 80% of people just need someone to tell them what to do and to follow.

Incredible. The similarity in the colours is uncanny.

I can't agree with this. You would only see the sun's path curve if you were off planet otherwise unless it veers off course then the trajectory would appear straight. Besides, the sun doesn't revolve around the earth in the globe model - the earth revolves around the sun which is fixed and it is the rotation of the earth that creates the illusion that the sun is moving.

I didn't mean I have had enough of watching videos, I meant I prefer to read than watch. As I don't always have headphones or want to watch with the sound on. I did watch the vid here though and that explains it somewhat - thanks.

so, I was flying back from Tenerife yesterday and keeping my recent research about flat earth in mind curious to see how the earth looked. I read that in a plane, you are not high enough to see any curvature, however, when the sun set it definitely looked like I was observing a curve. Not just through one window but across around 4 of them the 'horizon' started high up on one of the windows and curved downwards through the rest forming what looked like an arc. The plane was level at the time. What was I seeing?

I'm not a massive fan of videos - where is the best place to read up on flat earth that isn't mainstream science ridiculing it?

What happens when you see through the fakery and break free as you put it? Do you think any of the controllers would really care if any of us saw through them as long as the masses dont?

If you cure cancer for the general public then we have overpopulation and the same if not more people would die anyway. Cancer is cruel but at least it is perceived as random so there is nowhere to complain to if it strikes.

If you look at what man is currently doing to the plant and how we are destroying the ideal conditions on it, it is conceivable that we will sooner or later make it impossible to sustain human life, at which point we will die out. In time, a new breed of humanoids will probably emerge, wither able to cope with the new atmosphere or when earth has returned the atmosphere to what it was when mankind emerged. With this thought in mind it is not inconceivable that there were races that came before us and killed themselves off in similar fashion, with the planet naturally decomposing and recycling the 'evidence' long before we came along. I think we are not the first humanoid race to walk the planet and will certainly not be the last.

Not only does low gravity make one take giant steps but also be able to levitate from the looks of this! Laughable. Don't know why people don't just come out and admit it was faked.
