it's about the ukraine revolution or coup d'etat depending on what way you want to look at it. it is a one sided documentary in that everyone wanted to be part of europe, but the treatment the berkut (special police force ) handed out was out and out murder.
like all peaceful protests you will have undercover police starting trouble to give the berkut a reason to charge and they had no second thoughts to beat elderly men or women who stood in their line of fire. then they actually shoot at protestors a few weeks into the demonstrations.
i'm not getting into the political areas of this documentary as I know nothing of the area or history, but one thing was clear, those psychopaths and I really do mean psychopaths shooting at anyone and everyone should be arrested and jailed for life.
vitali klitschko is in it and I understand why he fights in Germany, he was booed every time he tried to talk to the protestors. this has english subtitles but you hardly notice once you're 10 mins into it. It's a very powerful documentary.
