Thank you for contacting us regarding the "Million Mask March" held on 5 November 2013. We understand you felt BBC News did not cover this story sufficiently.

This was a disparate event, taking place across a number of time zones in a number of countries. It is difficult to gauge the scale of such a widespread protest in this way, but at no point did the numbers suggest it was an extraordinary turnout.

In London, estimates were that several hundred people turned out, which is not in itself the kind of protest that would automatically make news. Figures elsewhere seemed to be much smaller - 100 in Sao Paulo, Manila and Sydney, 200 in Denver, so these were clearly not protests that would warrant coverage based just on their size.

That said, the march was reported on the BBC News Channel on the evening of 5 November as well as during 'Newsnight', and on the BBC News website at:

Had there been one huge protest in a major city, or very well-attended demonstrations, a different view may have been taken. We also note the lack of coverage these protests appear to have received from other media.

put a complaint on the bbc website about the lack or non coverage of the million mask march london, here is my email to them.

i find it disgusting that a million people around 400 cities all over the world does not make the news, and don't insult my intelligence and say you have many stories to fill your time slot, this news was relevant with the energy prices plus it was worldwide news not just uk, I am trying to figure out why it never got any coverage, was it because it was peaceful no looting or rioting?or maybe your masters do not want the rest of the public knowing what's really going on? the bbc and other mainstream media outlets are just a scripted mouthpiece for government agencies and the alternative media will be the voice of the real news.

just a question to anyone, how do they pick the audience members on tv shows?i only know you can apply online for one show (question time) tried twice to get tickets to no avail, I have read in the past that the famous ed sullivan show was full of people who either worked for sullivan and there relatives the same with the letterman show, I have seen a couple of shows and the audience members are on each week, am just wondering is it a select view?

just watched a interesting show about whether billy the kid got shot by pat garrett when he was young, and there is strong evidence that garrett was in cahoots with billy the kid to split the reward money for his capture then helps the kid in his escape, then years later there is a man nicknamed brushy bill who claims he was the kid, he had the same scars as the kid named his acquaintances that only his closest friends would no and even wanted a pardon for his crimes, so much so the brushy bill a old man in his seventies met the mayor of new mexico to see if he could a pardon, photo experts who do help the fbi and cia have compared billy the kids only legitimate photo and brushy bills picture have called it a perfect match died when he was 71 in 1950.

just seen a new angle of the pentagon 9/11 attack, the fbi kept the tape but had to release it after an appeal, I can see no plane, when you watch it you will see a lorry/truck passing at the time of the attack, that guy could tell the world whether it was a plane or not.

i recorded a interesting show called brad meltzers decoded and it was about fort knox, a few interesting facts I never knew, if you combined the gold reserves in russia /saudi arabia/egypt a few more I can't remember , fort knox would hold more than all of them, trillions and trillions of dollars, so why is the dollar dropping if they have the gold?well they think its empty, it has tighter security there than the whitehouse, and they do not want anyone knowing that the peoples gold has been sold, the last president to see the gold was ronald regan, obama has to apply to see if he can visit fk, they had this finacle prediction expert that studied in princeton and worked at wall street, he has cashed in all of his savings relocated (his identity hidden) and said his job was to predict what the economy be like in the future and hence he has bought a recluse home/ guns etc he said its when this will happen not if, they asked if he thought fk has gold in its vault, he said no, he said there are two scenarios what can happen the first if the dollar gradually declines say over ten years (which it will) and its not a shock to the system, the other scenario is like a wall street crash or say find out that fort knox has no gold reserves, then there would be chaos in the streets, riots/looting deaths within a few days, martial law, that's why I have sympathy for the responsible for the law abiding gun owners who fear this day will come, it sort of coincides with the tv shows that are on next week, one is called blackout (cyber attack) if I was devious and I did not want to let my people know I have no money left how about allowing a massive cyber attack that blacks out america for a few months?

got to get this off my chest, a guy that I like and I thinks talks a hell of a lot of sense (russell brand) is getting panned by people who think he is a fraud and a plant they people who think this have have been the same principles as me but we disagree on this infact the same guy in the past thought I was some type of mole (mi5 monitoring their website according to acquaintance)anyway the paranoia setting in about who I think are good people is going way over the top to the extent that because this site has a disclaimer for not taking things too seriously that powerful subjects were not took to seriously and this was a zionist site, no doubt I put him straight am still a bit p----d of about it to be honest, soz guys had to get that off my chest.
