I'm assuming this would all tie in with the Sumerian civilisation and the supposed happenings of that time?
I say this because Sumer was basically Southern Iraq around 2500 BC.

There are many, many bands that write protest songs Franky, you'll find a lot of them to be an acquired taste though. The majority of protest songs now come about through the extreme metal genres and sub-genres. Bands such as Dying Fetus are one of the more well known bands to do this.

Should maybe look at some of the lyrics by a band called Rings of Saturn. They vocalise about Dystopian futures and being controlled and/or manipulated into slavery. They also do Alien abduction/invasion songs too, which is where they got the genre "alien core" from.
I wouldn't recommend listening to them unless you're into the far end of the Metal spectrum. I think they are great myself, but I am one of few.

Ed033, have you by any chance played the video game Half Life and it's sequels?
A lot of what you post up here does seem to have some kind of similarity with how the story developed in the game. If you don't know the story of Half Life then perhaps it might be worth a read for you.

When they raid a suspected grower, they take the plants to be evaluated as to how much money could be made on them (they usually go for the upper bracket, even when the plant isn't flowering), so you'll see media reports of "thousands of pounds worth of drugs seized" even though the plants were immature and about 6 weeks old.

Anyone remember Silkroad?
A friend and I were talking not so long ago about a guy we used to play video games with. He had issue's with anxiety so that is all he did (play vg's) .
He used to frequent Silkroad and he used to buy cocaine from there, however the day that SR went down, is the day he didn't come back online.
We've searched local papers for info on him, as if he was arrested or had died it would have been in the local paper.
We search online obituaries and have found absolutely nothing on him at all.
No social media or anything.
Anyone got any ideas? Does anyone know of anything surrounding the Silkroad shut down?

Daggers, you saying about impact wounds from the bullets, you are totally correct, there would be more than just a bullet hole.
I say this in every movie I watch, when you see a sniper hit the perfect 1000 yard head shot and it's just a small red dot on his fore head, laughable - I watched a real video of an SAS sniper shot in Afghanistan and this was from nearly 2 miles away, it hit the guy in the shoulder and ripped his entire arm including the shoulder socket, collar bone and half his rib cage out.

What's the point though Ed033? I mean at the end of the day, what is turning the Earth into a barren wasteland and putting AI's here going to do for anyone? What purpose would that serve to anyone aside from maybe a bit of a light show for a few years?
It just seems like a totally whacked out plan with no real goal, except for a big light show.
Maybe they should put me in charge of this "Elite group (s) ", as I at least have a forward thinking plan.

Growbun, the problem with things like that is they open certain ports on your routers, unless you know what you're doing anyone can access you via those ports.
And believe it or not, there are people who consistently attack those common port numbers on millions of people at a time. So yeah it's very likely.
