You've got to be careful when it comes to the death penalty. Although forensic science is pretty solid, there are still times when it can be wrong. For example, there will always be corrupt cops about and evidence could be planted to frame somebody for a crime. The only group I would serve this type of sentence on is paedophiles and rapists but you would have to be 200% sure that the accused was guilty. And I agree totally that prison should be a grim experience, basic conditions with no luxury. As far as I'm concerned, if you commit major crimes then you have stripped yourself of any rights until you pay your debt to society {Ed002's Note - It is not possible to be "200% sure". The word you are looking for is "certain".}
As ed033 says, this practice has been going on for thousands of years within all establishments. The amount of children that go missing throughout the world, never to be seen again, is quite staggering. The number of cases that get to court has increased dramatically since the 1980's because the subject is no longer ignored or swept under the carpet. Attitudes have changed and people are prepared to speak out. It's an outrage that the politicians that have been implicated seem to be untouchable when it comes to the law, they should be treated the same as you or me. And I wait for the day that a certain 'family' are also brought to justice for such evil deeds. I haven't seen anything about Jill Dando though, you got any links for that please Gibsy21?
I've had my doubts about Jones for a while now ed. At the very least, although he seems to believe in everything he says, he is a little too extremist and forceful of his views. This is the second time he has been on national tv and blown his top when others disagree. Akin to a child throwing their dummy out of the pram. He needs to be more respectful to others, a debate can only take place with civil conversation. Shouting and trying to drown out other people just makes him look childish and will not help his cause move to mainstream media (if there was ever a chance) Unless, as ed033 points out, he is achieving his goals with such actions
Spot on Franky, the Nazi's never really went away. If it is true that Prescott Bush played a part in funding Hitler and his party, then we can assume that he shared similar beliefs. He would have impressed his ideologies on his son George, who in turn would do the same with his son, George jnr. For at least 12 years since 1989, America has been influenced by Fascist agendas.
I think the use of recreational drugs is far more widespread than we are led to believe and that it probably generates millions upon millions of pounds. You could class dealers and cultivators of the drugs in the same bracket as the top men at vodaphone, starbucks etc in the sense that none of them get around to paying corporate tax! Seriously, it has been highlighted in the USA that drugs are brought in, by government agencies, with the profits filtered off to shadowy black ops budgets. I think the UK must do something similar, maybe on a smaller scale though. There are, allegedly, many things such as tyres etc thrown in to the mix with hashish but not just in muslim states. The UK has seen a steep rise in people growing their own pot now, unlike in recent decades where it was imported to these shores. So you are right MG, terrorists are using drug money to fund their attacks. It's just, in my humble opinion, the government terrorists that seem to profit the most
Hey Franky, good video to post mate. I watched this and part two the other day and the info imparted, as well as how non-committal the police officers seemed to be, was unreal! I can't make my mind up with Clifford. It's possible that he was just supplying under age kids for these vile after show parties but, even so, he must have had knowledge of what was going on. This makes him just as guilty. As you say, the names Ben dropped in to conversation was startling. Sylvia Young, Esther Rantzen - both are people parents believe their kids would be safe with. the list is endless. I've heard that Ben has made contact but can find very little to verify this. Anyone got any updates?
Garbo and ed033, the Holly case is one of the most sickening cases they are covering up. Can't for the life of me think how they get away with this just because they are near the top of their profession. Robert Green getting locked up for the handing out leaflets is unbelievable (I thought they were about him running for a seat in Aberdeen rather than info on the case ed033) but it goes to show the lengths they go to in order to get silence. Apparently, it was Kenneth Clarke who gave permission for Saville to have rooms at kids hospitals and homes so why hasn't he been implicated in Yewtree? I hope you're wrong Franky and that some people grow a set and listen to the likes of Ben and Holly's stories. The victims are the ones who should be protected not the who abuse them
{Ed033's Note - Maybe you're right, I definitely heard and read that Robert Green was jailed for attempting to hand out leaflets but didn't actually hand them out. Maybe what I heard/read/assumed from what I heard/read about what was on the leaflets was wrong.
I agree entirely ed033, extremely brave man. These evil people don't even play by the same rules they enforce upon us, it's amazing how they can sweep things under the carpet. I mean, they haven't even questioned this man despite a complaint! They definitely like to silence the individual who can hurt them in some way, Dr. Kelly for sure but hopefully not Ben Fellows. His story needs to be told to a wider audience. I'd also add the Holly Greig story as another that needs to be aired properly, sickening as it is. It's a harsh world
{Ed033's Note - How crazy was this, Robert Green was sent to prison for attempting to hand out some leaflets in a public place that had info about the Hollie Greig case.
04 Jun 2013 16:45:29 Good afternoon all. Have any of you been following the Ben Fellows case? For those who don't know, he is the man who named paedophiles from within the entertainment industry and within government. There are a few videos on youtube for those who haven't heard of him. Anyway, after a few threats and having his house ransacked, Ben has gone missing and nobody has heard from him for a good few days which is unusual according to those who know him. His wife last spoke to him on 29th May. Firstly, I hope he is safe and well but, failing that, I hope he has left a cache of evidence and info to bring these vile people to justice
{Ed033's Note - Ben was being very brave and courageous and I think he named someone at a level higher than was acceptable.
I certainly agree with the second part of your post, the government know how to play the game to suit themselves. A terrorist attack, however, is defined as an act of religious or political motivation With at least one of the murderers being filmed admitting that it was revenge for what Muslims are going through in other nations, then I'd say it fell in to the terrorist category.
Any anger is aimed, as Franky points out, at the people who put you and your comrades in these conflicts. Nobody in their right mind would blame the soldiers on the front line, you are simply doing the job you have been employed to do. You're right to say that you are helping to rebuild the infrastructure of Iraq etc but if these greedy clowns did not attack these places in the first instance then there would be no help required. I don't think you can, however, state that half of the uk are bums and the other as smack heads. The current economical climate here is tough, even menial jobs are attracting applications in their thousands. Some will be bone idle and not want to work and some will be addicted to drugs or drink. These are problems that can be found throughout the world. For everyone of them you will find plenty of decent and normal people. The lack of respect from the youth of today is a worry. Not so long ago, we did as we were told by the adults with no questions asked. Getting a smack off your parents was punishment for wrong doing, it taught us not to misbehave. Until they give back parents the power to chastise their children then we will see no change in kids attitudes.
I agree Ed001 that some things seem a bit odd, especially the reaction of the other people, but I suppose we all act differently when the push comes to the shove. The true facts will come out over the next few days. Two more have been detained by police, a male and a female, to help their inquiries. The plot thickens
Ed001- Your wording says it all - reportedly. There is no doubt that the press have, unashamedly, sensationalised the entire story. Admittedly, they can only go by eye witness accounts but they have been slow to push forward the truth. The two bags attempted to behead and disembowel their victim after running him over. This would make sense of why people knelt over the lad to comfort him, without reeling back in horror. They must have cut him up enough for him to lose all his blood (press pictures show a large pool of blood to the right of the car) and then dragged him in to the road. With regards to the gun shots, as far as I'm aware (and I could be wrong) the only shots were fired by the police after one of the murderers fired at them. Allegedly, his gun back fired and either blew off his own hand or his finger. I love a good conspiracy as much as you guys but I just don't see it in this instance. This is just another example of how religion can twist a persons mind, in my opinion anyway. {Ed001's Note - it still doesn't explain a thing to me, I have seen people's reactions to a man carrying large blades with blood on his hands. It isn't to casually walk past like nothing is going on, as happened clearly in the video. It isn't to gather around to watch, with no sign of recoiling away whenever he gets close. I know we, as a society, are becoming inured to violence to others, but we still have that natural fear instinct when our own life is potentially endangered. None of the people around showed that response at all. It is very weird, disturbing in fact.}
