What you have to realise nowadays is that the Media has become far from reporting facts, now it is a point of view/ stance of that newspaper using those facts in a way that benefits it agenda, and this is a worldwide thing not just west or east papers. You have to make up your own mind and not let people do that for you.

obliviously I am not american but have a few people I speak to from the states and the vibe I get is the normal american on the street are pissed off with politicians, its happening all over the world like a virus and the media can not scare people anymore,

the reason they can not scare people anymore is we are a lot poorer than we were twenty years ago, so there is nothing to lose,

brexit and trump is not the normal working class or poor worker being worried it is really the city of london and wall street being terrified .

as for ww3 if clinton was elected it was no secret she is more hawkish than obama who by the way bombed or droned more countries than even george bush,

clinton would get a free pass to attack or threaten another country from democrats and republicans because she has been in power for over 30 years, that will not happen now with trump, obama/ clinton and even some of his own party have mocked trump if he had the power to make decisions if it came to war, so it will be a lot harder .

make no mistake clinton was aiming to poke the bear (russia) and that scares the s--t out of me .

So Trump wins and again I'm left ashamed at my age group 20-30, taking to facebook and twitter acting like the world is going to end. Before I go on I will say I'm glad I'm not American as I would of struggled to pick either. But, whinging like the world is going to end because trumps in power, nothing will change. a president is just the face of the decisions that's made it's not like it's a one man band taking on the world.

The media coverage is also a joke, just because darling Hilary didn't win there going to say this is the worst thing since brexit ;) . People need to realise that the media is a business and the only thing that sells papers or clicks is doom and gloom. Your not going to read a story that says everything's great here's to tomorrow. The reason it gets worse is because media companies have to keep topping their previous efforts of doom to keep the revenue ticking over. Once people realise that that's what the media companies are doing the world might be a little brighter. But instead the majority lap it up like is gospel then spread it all over social media.

Also I can't remember the last time an American decision actually effected me in my day to day life so everyone whinging needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

Last thing, I apologise this has turned into a rant, celebrities also need to shut up, yes they have a right to an opinion but to act like they know best is crazy. Their lives won't change a bit it's the every day folk that have lost jobs or had to struggle to find money to pay the next bill. But again the majority lap up what they say like there some Demi gods, nope, your all the same and without us normal folk you'd be nowhere. It's about time they realised that.

Trump, Clinton there's no difference, they are most likely controlled by the same people. The reason he won I'd assume is that the controllers want to change the agenda somewhat.
My guess is that Putin and others could have gone rogue and have maybe put a spanner in the works somewhat.

how can you condemn it when Berlin is building a wall Taller' than the famous Berlin Wall to Separate the refugees (overwhelmingly men) from German citizens. The walls not being built for a laugh. It's because they cannot assimilate into western culture and women and children are specifically at risk.
The point of the wall is to protect citizens though Germany and Merkel are an embarrassment.

I'm all for free trade and freedom of movement for the easier transference of people with valuable skills or people wanting a better life if they are prepared to work for it.

However as you say the issue is one of assimilation. Go to parts of London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam etc and see how well that is going.

There is a perception that too many want to come to Europe for a free ride which is causing a backlash and will make it harder for those who do wish to contribute.
