There was a bloke just on central news, who had been testing his infrared filming kit and filmed some ufo's. Caught a load of small objects moving in formation. Might worth a look.

Against any Government to be hoest Franky. They are in it for themselves. they're all rich snobs who litterally havnt got a clue. They don't care about us either so its a big sham to be honest. Even if we had a government that cared about the tax payers, it wouldn't be long before the Elite got into their ranks to turn the tide. I beleive that 100%.

True geordie I will agree with you there but since we have not a worthy independent coming anytime soon a change from lab/con might be slightly better, then as I write this I find out a lot of torie people defecating to ukip ffs {Ed001's Note - there really is no difference in any of them.}

True edd, {Ed001's Note - I was thinking it yesterday when the polls were open here. I would never vote Tory, Liberals would just give power to the Tories anyway and Labour are just Tory by another name these days. That only leaves independents, and most independents are wealthy people who would normally vote Tory anyway. Doesn't really give you a choice as such.}

I recommend checking out Nigel Farage's appearances in the European Parliament, via YouTube. He's quite impressive.

However, for UKIP to win an election depends on many things. For one, they must have the media on-side which means 'deal brokering' with the likes of Murdoch. a man whom Farage has recently dined with.

If you saw the papers in the last week, there were a few instances of frightening the electorate/sheep off UKIP. Come the next election and it will be full on, for weeks and months; scaremongering to generate doubt.

While I disagree in principle with the Ed's note that they're all the same, I'd have to say that for UKIP to come to power, they will have to become the same - accept both the establishment and established ways that this country runs itself and the world. Sad but true - put up or emigrate somewhere with a language barrier sufficiently tough enough to completely disengage you from politics.

No, not Wales.

Ukip! Well the top boys go to the same clubs as the rest, this is to make you think there is a choice, this is their system and a big CLUB, only way we can change is the get a new system.
Some folk like Coke, some Pepsi, othersAsda coke!
but it's the same s***.

By the way do you really think your votes count, do you check the votes, do you trust them?
If you where at the top would you let the lesser class (me and you) to get the power to change a thing?

anyone have an opinion on the zeitgeist films? very good insight into a lot of problems in the 21st century society in my opinion.

Interesting films, some of the the content is plausible but way out there at the same time. The guy who made the films once worked for the kind of organisation that he disgraces in the series. The 1st installment really got me thinking about religion, I was brought up a catholic and my kids have been brought up the same by their mother, however I sincerely refute any of the bullsh*t they are taught.

Yeah they're brilliant and more should be made to enlighten and give people more information than the crap we got told in school.

Mr. Deeds, may I reccommend Spirit Science? I researched it after Zeitgeist. 4 hours long but interesting and entertaining

Just to add to the huge post below about Human origins.

Cheetahs are all identical to each other.

In the Sumerian texts where they were used as domesticated hunting animals, their fur is also cat like and dog like, they sit like dogs and neither bark or meow, they chirp and their paws are different too.

Maybe what created us could of created them to hunt for us?

(Don't know if this is accurate but I don't think they can Evolve either)

What I find perplexing about evolution is how our minds evolved to dream and create technology's like television and radio, you see its one thing to invent glass and accidentally realize it's magnification properties but its another thing entirely to produce a tv especially in the early 20th century. Are we pre programmed to create technologies such as telephones, satellites and even giant space telescopes to carry us fourth to a as yet unseen future and if we do then who's eternal song do we dance too.

The pineal gland is not really my subject but I read somewhere that we use a small proportion of our brain, why is that?where we dumbed down? why do certain people have the brain capacity to create inventions? to me it can not be down to evolution, like I mentioned I think we were created by a intelligence we can not comprehend.

That is a fallacy neuroimaging shows that we use all of our brain. We just do not know how it works.

six years ago Madeleine McCann went missing now as a father of 3 girls that is the worst torture I could think of, I would not wish that on anyone and I mean anyone, in my opinion someone very influential and important has something to do with her murder as I can not see her being alive, were either of the parents involved in what had happened? as a human being I would say no, how could any parent allow that to happen? then again I would not leave my kids alone no matter if its a stones throw away from the bar they were in, to be honest I am still angry they done that, but if they had nothing to do with the abduction then they will be paying for that for the rest of their lives, as you may gather I am unsure if either of them are part of the abduction, the 48 questions kate McCann did not answer is a mystery to me, if I was in her shoes I would do everything I could think of to help the police just in case it lead to a leed, but not answering them questions to me looks like she was more interested in self preservation and that annoys me as well, honestly six years on I don't think they killed the child, do I think they had something to do with her disappearance? i am 50/50 something does not add up for me, a niggling inkling is saying yes one of them knows more.

Not Registered
Martin Smith's statement left me thinking he might have seen Gerry that night. If it was Gerry, it doesn't look great for him. We'll probably never know for sure, but the McCann's attempt to discredit the sniffer dogs doesn't help either. Ryan. {Ed001's Note - as far as I am concerned, at the very least they were guilty of neglect, could you imagine the uproar if they had been a pair of chavs that left their kids alone while they went out? Because they are well to do, that doesn't make them any better at being parents, but it seems to let them get away with things that no poor person could.}

Followed this a while ago, and my opinion is pretty much close to ed's. Something bad happend to Madeleine maybe by them or not, but seems they covered it up to save face. They came across to try too hard to make themselves shown in good light, but never fully shifted blame on their selves for not protecting their daughter. Did they ever say "its our fault" for not being there when she "disappeared"?that would be the first thing that would haunt me!

Gerry is not Madeleine's biological father by the way. We probably wouldn't have found that out if the police hadn't visited him in Birmingham to eliminate him as a suspect. Ryan.

What are peoples opinions on how Humans came to be, i'm with Lloyd Pye, I think there was some intervention (not God)

Just to add (for jay) I believe in Evolution but I don't believe it created Humans.

{Ed033's Note - it's difficult to explain the different races unless there was intervention or we came here from some other planet.

A personally think a couple a thousand of us were kicked out a spaceship about 100 thousand years ago. And once we get to the 50 billion mark, they'll be back for a mega meat harvest.

Well, knowing that the atoms we are made up of come from space, a star explosion billions of years ago, I would say evolution is the answer to our being! There is plenty of evidence to show the very, very slow process of evolution, if you want to see it. Evolution happens everywhere on this planet, from plants, animals and us, always adapting to our surroundings! There is great evidence of this in the Galápagos Islands, where there is a species of turtle, spread out over the Galapagos, and with each different environment, each turtle has different features, yet all share the same family tree. The more land living ones have better equipped (feet?) fir journying across land than the more water dwelling ones, who have more fin shaped type of (feet?) and other things like shape of mouth/snout/beek or whatever the correct term is! Lol
This type of evolution is everywhere to see, and it's taken the universe 14billion years to sustain such complex life! The life we know anyway!
Check out Richard Dawkins, or Neil Degrasse Tyson. These guys are great at explaining these complex situations and making you realise just how wonderful and mysterious evolution is!

Peace
