Hey guys!
I've just purchased myself the Samsung galaxy note 2, after having an iphone for 3-4 years. Not only did I realize how I don't know, after usinh Apple products for so long, but when I attempted to download an application from the Google Play store, I was absolutely amazed at how many 'Permissions' the companies that own/make the software are entitled to, obviously they vary, depending on what app you download. I mean, I'm not sure if it is like that with Apple and iTunes and I just never knew, which wouldn't surprise me, but wow, it just really blew me away how much our privacy is invaded. Give I t another five years and everything we do will somehow be monitored. Already, Facebook has given everyone a head start with facial recognition and tagging. Even Melbourne, Australia, where I'm from has a public transport ticketing system that monitors everywhere we travel, where we top up etc. It's quite fascinating and somewhat scary how every little thing we do can somehow be traced. Thanks "ed's" for the good work.

It's the very same with Apple products keyboard. To use the Fox phrase, some would say it is even more intrusive with Apple as you have to give credit card details to enable downloading from their site.

Qwertytrewq I am certain that they have been monitoring us since the mobile phone came out its a device that you always bring with you so they'd know exactly where you are at any given time
Heskeyfenwa {Ed001's Note - me mam used to work for Orange, and when my parents were burgled, they knew exactly what address her phone was in. Even though it was a block of flats, they knew which one, and that was with the SIM changed. That was years ago as well, before the smartphone era. There are numerous programs out there to allow access to a phone's mic and/or camera from another phone or computer. I am sure there must be unscrupulous people using those programs to monitor targets for all sorts of reasons. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if journalists, for instance, use them to spy on 'celebs'.}
