Thanks grover, maybe I mean infinite increasing mass (if that makes sense?) if you think about it some more I can see how we are all part of something like the big bang, the sun is the reference point for an explosion outwards which is happening now and everything it moving away from the sun (or what we think it is).
I swear I haven't taken any recreational drugs for many years, just something I think about from time to time.

I have often thought this, like we have bacteria on our teeth, yet they r so small the next tooth could seem like another planet away,so our full solar system may be a tiny part of something else, it kinda makes sense in my brain

Well i suppose it would depend on what you mean by size, as like you said space could be infinite so technically the "size" of space is infinite

There are a couple of meanings in the dictionary for the word PIOUS.
1. Marked by sham or hypocracy.
2. Devoutly religious.
Kind of the same thing really, am I to beleive I will spend the rest of eternity burning in hell just because I didnt quite get it ? The crime hardly fits the punishment, its all quite sad really that people in this day and age still believe in fairy storys from thousands of years ago.

I also seen the program and it was very interesting, u said gears werent used until 13th century and beyond but they explained that by saying when greek and roman civilasations collapsed the tech went east before coming back west.
