Agreed but my point is not with man who is agressive its about non agressive people,our species sadly are not geared for peace,we will always fight about something,land/oil/religeon/women/jealousy, you name it we fight over it and i dont think we could change, out of all the species on this world we are by far the worst, animals kill to survive, we do for greed/power,thats why i reckon this is hell and we only really change when we die.

Matt I really don`t understand why you have to have a go at people who have a faith! I have one and it is personal to me, I don`t go rubbing peoples noses in it or castigate folk who are atheists.
Think people should live and let live regardless of having any kind of belief or not!
You are being negative and patronising regarding peoples belief systems, leave them alone!
Quite strange to see a rangers fan on here when their traditions are steeped in British Israelism.
On here to annoy folk as your team are going down the pan!!
Hail Hail.... {Ed001's Note - what has his team's traditions to do with his personal beliefs? Or are you one of those sad ones that choose their team based on religion and can't distinguish between religion and football?}

Yeah its interesting, i dont see god or the devil as actual entities. I just think god and the devil just 'are'. Like constant opposing forces that always have, and always will be in everybody and everything. Its a constant battle between good and bad, and bad wins most times by its very nature.

Slightly off topic, this just reminded me of a docu ive seen, powerful/influential/successful people are apparantley a LOT more likley to be bad/evil than good, because its their ruthless/cold charachteristics that get them to the top, scary how rare a victories for 'good' are

Ignoring the fact that the Earth was clearly not created over 7 days (and is older than 10,000 years), I'm going to focus on the Noah's Ark garbage.

There is not a single shred of evidence that the population size of any species examined, from cheetahs to rattlesnakes, experienced a bottleneck of 2 (or less than 1000, in fact) individuals during the time purported for the "great flood".

Further, all freshwater species would have died out during the flood due to all water becoming brackish. All coral would have been too deep to receive sunlight and warmth, thus perished and the species that depended on it would have disappeared. Follow this ad nauseum until the sea is dead.

Of course not ed. You could even argue that the Japanese walked into a giant trap, they were provoked into attacking, attacked what looked like a nice juicy target, a target put there only months earlier, missed their main target "conveniently" out at sea, and ended up eventually losing. It "conveniently" ended US isolationism which is what both FDR and Winston wanted. Conspiracy yes but i'd just say some guy who thought it up had been reading their Sun Tsu rather well. Anyway gone off the OP's topic a bit so apologies. {Ed001's Note - Sun Tzu would never have approved of that, there was nothing in the Art of War about provoking an attack so you can go to war. Quite the opposite, his mantra was that the only true success was to avoid a war, that you never win a war, only survive it. So anyone reading it rather well would have found a way to bring peace, not encourage war to break out. Maybe someone who has read it, but not understood it would see it your way.}

Its only a conspiracy till the truth emerges. I think its bad but i think worse things have happened that are more worth going on about like for example JFK, 911, etc etc, rather than something that happened in a war where many dodgy decisions were made and many nasty things happened. {Ed001's Note - nobody was saying there isn't, but the point is that governments won't hesitate to hide the facts when it suits them.}

I get it it Ed but in my viewpoint its not a conspiracy as people are using the word though Ed. People are meaning a conspiracy as like JFK or 911 rather than something in a war which can be seen as a necessary evil. I can get letting a town get bombed to protect the fact we had broken the code, to save more lives in the long run. Its a tactical loss to advance the strategic objective. Doesn't mean people have to like it, but thats how it was perceived at the top, and i dare say its the same as how FDR perceived the attack on Hawaii, a necessary evil. Difference is the truth on Coventry came out, it hasn't on Pearl Harbor.

But compared to killing a popular president because of what he was planning to do pissed of the financial big shots, in order to get a yes man to take over, now thats a conspiracy! {Ed001's Note - I understand what you are saying, but the whole point is that it is still a conspiracy.}

Don't think Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy. Yes thye knew they were coming, yes they sacrificed a few pawns but that doesn't mean it was a conspiracy. Its the same as what we did with Coventry, knew they were coming so let it happen to protect the knowledge that we had broken the codes. If iwas to suggest looking at a more likely conspiracy similar to Pearl habor i'd say Gulf of Tonkin. {Ed001's Note - which would still make it a conspiracy, I don't think you are quite getting it. They conspired to keep quiet that an attack was coming, then conspired to keep it a secret that they knew the attack was coming. That would be a conspiracy, as was Coventry.}

The term blind faith springs to mind,you may be right but you have also acknowledged that there is a devil,so if you have a devil you must have a god?like i said in my other topic i wrote i dont think its a god ,instead i think its a higher intellegence who does not judge us like a so called god or lays down rules(bible) like a so called god, either way we will all find out sooner or later.
