I have a few theorys on christianity. 1) It was a big lie about a woman (Mary) having an affair that got just a tad out of hand. 2) Jesus existed but was a bit of a conman who knew slight of hand. 3) Chinese whispers that got seriousley out of hand. Honestly though just look up why the romans moved the supposed bith of JC to the 25th december something to do with the winter sotstice.

Ed - Yes I forgot that about the city, and I went to Holy Trinity school between the ages of 5 - 10 and had this drivel spoon fed to me ! Maybe these guys writing about the city and the ark and the talking snake and the fact that women have a period every month or childbirth pain as some bibles say is Gods punishment because Eve ate the forbidden fruit etc hundreds of years after the supposed Jesus was dead, were possibly sat to near a local poppy field as it was burning when they wrote it. Now, I am an open minded person, I believe the Rothschilds and close associates have ruled the world for a lot of years, I believe 911 was an inside job, I believe JFK was an inside job, Im open minded on the 0 point comspiricy, whatever created the universe or however it was created aside, these relegions have no place in the modern world and I know it wont be in my lifetime but I hope they slowly decline over the decades.

I think that religious people have to stop being patronising though. They have no problems admitting that god created everything, then when you say what about when a 2 year old dies of brain cancer they simply say ah but that will be the devil. A little random and vague. You cannot simply describe everything that is the wonder of nature as god without conceeding that he or it also created disgusting things and diseases like cancer. Oh and as Doug Stanhope once said "If you honestly beleive that when you die you will spend the rest of time dancing around on a fluffy cloud happier than a worm an animals stool, then why the **** do you wear a seatbelt ?"

Yeah Jay meant anunnaki sorry! typing from an iphone isnt always the easiest of things! And i do honestly believe there will be something on the 21st December 2012 because the calenders (egyptian and Mayan) have been so accurate to date! And why just end on a random date as 21st. And if im honest im quite excited by it all and hope something does happen so i can say i told you so! :) Just like to say what a great post Franky and i love reading everyones responses to this touchy subject. People seem to forget that at its heart Christianity is a poor mans religion, hear me out!
The Reason it spread widely after Jesus death was a simple message that every person is equal before God whether poor or rich, king or pauper. To say that the poor and weak are the favoured by God connects to poor people.

I see with what you are saying about who created them, but heres the way i see it, nust my personal view.
If ( big if ) the anunnaki did/do exist, it doesnt mean that something had to create them, just as nothing created us. They could just be another species thats evolved like us and simply been here longer than us, hence the sumerians seeming to have such a great understanding of things. Basically, in the next few thousand years, we could be visiting other planets for resources, so whos to say it may not have already happened?

Ok frankie me and my ex had a hair salon in hanforth in cheshire and we used to sleep over in the appartment upstairs so it was about 11 at night and I went to the toilet I had the door open while I was sitting on the toilet and I saw an orb fly right inbetween my legs an I was slightly shocked but put it down to me being tired and it was probably an insect until I looked for the fly and when I looked towards the door there was a old woman in a white dress with pink and green flowers just standing there and then after about 10th seconds she slowly vanished

Ok franky I've been thinking about this and I think octomus prime is the true god! it does make you wonder!! Earth is only a baby to the rest of the universe and to think were the only ones here would be down right stupid! And if we have progressed as far as we have in all forms of life such as medical, engineering and many many more things! s**t we can even clone sheep! And were just a baby imagine what other life forms could do if thru evolved at the same rate as us! It is scary that there must have been 'THE ONE' at some point but who or what he was I don't think we'll ever know! But there is more evidence to say aliens exsist than there is a god! Good or bad there here already it's just when there going to let everyone know there here!

Matt you are missing my point,the vatican the most holy of place for catholisim is in some peoples eyes as false and only for praying for evil and black arts/occult, as for the god question i defo do believe there is another relm were we go when we die, not saying its gods will but a higher aurthority.
