I did watch Enemy of the State on bbc3 the other week. Bit of an oldish film now being mid 90's but quite scary and very topical. {Ed001's Note - that is a good film, I think.}

When you look at the stories of alien encounters from small villages that very rarely talk to common man, They are from grey's to lizard men to Angel types and giant robots so Giant men on earth at one point in time would not surprise me

Not sure about a stargate but i do believe that atlantis or a lost city or a life form is the driving force behind this race to get there first, 20 years to uncover a lake just seems a little weak to me, i might be somewhat naive on this matter but surely there is more to it....

No mate i dont think its hillsbourgh related i just think its the media we live in to today,we have always known that they have no morals,camping outside a house of a high profile person whos wife died then trys to get there young child to open the door because the person was to distraught says it all about there scruples,if they think its news worthy they will run and run it,dalglish was right about the build up to the game saying it was on 24hours a day,one day you will get a ignorent so called fan who will really hurt someone over this type of incedent and the media will milk it again.

The only reason I looked into this stuff was because one of the tenents in the houses I do contract work in is in his mid 90's and was in as he put it intelligence during WW2, He's the most gracious and clever old guy ive ever met and can speak fluent arabic and Russian. He was explaining to me about propaganda being the biggest weapon during those times as they didnt have tv and net etc and He was watching RT and told me to start watching it ! It was he that told me "look son it wasnt as bad as they like to say it was.....they would still be burning 6 million bodies now" Im confused, maybe he was a double agent lol!
