Welcome, Ed. Stumbled across this by pure chance. Or not? . Anyway, its going to be interesting to see them going to the moon again in 2024. Although, They've not even launched phase 1 of artemis yet and stages 2 and 3 have yet "to be designed by the crew". What does that even mean? the flight crew? me and the boyz livin' it large on a MF boat?

There is mention, in this video, that you can see spacex rockets transition into the waters above. I don't suppose you know of these videos showing that, Ed? . All my searches just shows vts of them crashing into the sea. Thanks.

Ed, I don't suppose you have a link or some other access to the full version of the clip (36-40min) in the above VT? I assume not as you probably would have posted that. Just thought i'd ask as having no luck finding it. Thanks.

Just searched for an explanation for this effect and its comical.

"The researches discovered that acoustic waves, also known as sound waves, in the earths upper atmosphere pile up along the the leading and trailing edges of the moons shadow as it moves across the earth, like the waves when a ship plows through water"

"First the wave capture, this is simply caused by vibration of the air around the moon, caused by the effective hit of a solar bow wave, pressure wave which the moon and indeed even the earth to a certain extent also will have this mini flutter occur. "

So now shadows have mass? and there is air on the moon?

They would probably think it was a good idea and be stupid enough to try. Has there been any recent updates on what HAARP is up to?

My yt searches just bring up the opposite of what I'm trying to find these days. Is there anyway of searching yt without using their search algorithms? a back door so to speak.

The vacuum argument has me perplexed, Ed. The main stream answer would be gravity does it. Yet this doesn't make sense as gravity is weak and the force of which is easily counteracted by ourselves by the mere act of picking something up. If the same said object was the seal of a vacuum that was fixed point. The force used to break the vacuum would be exponentially greater than, that of gravity. So, by that very thought experiment, the system is flawed. And as you suggest, the atmosphere would be instantly ripped away.

I have seen the light show that is what we know as stars. And yeah its puzzling, but I have always put this down to atmospheric conditions being turbulent. That's the narrative we are taught anyway. Having looked at the moon a lot, you see whatever this effect is, very clearly. Almost like watching something through crystal clear waters. Having dabbled in the world of parachuting/ paragliding I have been trained to think of air acting the same way as water. So this effect of the moon and stars has up until now, always made sense.

So, hypothetically speaking. If the flat earth dome system existed. Pretty much everything we have been told is fake.
Is everything outside the dome real? or a projection onto said dome? .
Gravity or the effect of the force we know as gravity, would become very complex to explain with what would become defunct main stream science.

I have spent a very, very long time outside in the cold, looking at, and collecting digital camera data from such named objects as M51, horsehead nebulae etc etc. I'm going to be pretty pissed if it turns out I was taking an image, of an image. haha :)

What do all the "experts" say about the pollodium 218, Ed? . Tried searching for anyone in the mainstream talking or addressing this and no one seems to. I guess I should not be surprised by the empty rhetoric.

Cheers, Ed. Knew you'd have a, albeit mind-bending, plausible explanation up your sleeve.

If you were anywhere on a flat earth, and its was sunny. Would it not be sunny everywhere on that flat earth?

Doesn’t the moon appear different in size depending on how close it is to the horizon? Could that happen in reverse?

Of course if any of us were on a flight to the moon I expect we would be taking endless shots of the earth both from the space craft and from the lunar surface. But the lack of pictures makes scrutiny of their one that much harder because there’s nothing to compare it to. Unlike the lunar footage photos which seemed to have the same background despite being allegedly taken in different places on different days.

If you were there, the sight would be incredibly overwhelming and yes, you would expect there to be some more references to the amazement of seeing what would probably appear like a super earth. Even so much as speechless moments. But there isn't, that I am aware of.

The only footage I can recall offhand where you can see the earthrise from lunar orbit was some VT on what were these lunar flashes that 2 astronauts describe. On more than one occasion they saw flashes coming from the same lunar location. The footage doesn't show what they see, just voices and lunar landscape which then shows an earthrise. All would be easy to fake if you had the resources.

You could make a case for only a few "apollo" photos of the moon because the cameras were fixed POV apart from one? I believe, which was manual. And what with limited time, they were trained just to get their job done. But to counter argue. They had time to play golf and test Newtons theory of falling objects, but not to film the earth?

The big question is, why have we never been back?

I agree with that. The problem is you would need to be standing on the moon to see that, from that point of view (your own eyes) .

I was trying to get the point that, for instance, If I look at the moon with my yes and think i'll take a nice picture of that, then use a cameraphone let's say, to take a pic. Then moon appears a lot smaller than what i expected it too, when I looked at it using my eyes.

Hope you follow me, Ed?

You statement question is valid, but you would need to compare photos using exactly the same equipment. Or we can start a crowd funding page to get you too the moon? :)

I will see if I can find out the Apollo camera specs and take a picture of moon using same specs then we can compare.

Just a quick follow up. As far as I can tell it was taken by the 70mm Hasselblad.

lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS11-44-6552.

Sadly I have left my camera charger at home and won't be back until the new year. So can not take a 70mm comparable pic just yet. Not that I expect to see the moon anytime soon with this weather we're getting, anyhow.

For the time being here is a photo of the moon someone that is not me has taken at 70mm. It shows the point I am trying to make quite well.

For the moon to be that big in a photo you would have to use a telephoto lens zoomed into a distant horizon. Do you know what lens was used, Ed? . I would think it was probably a lot smaller lens. If you used the apollo equipment to take a photo of the moon it would look at lot smaller than the earth in the above image.

But this is by no way me saying that the photo isn't fake.

Never really delved to these depths of the rabbit hole without the pre-programmed mindset shutting down any unbiased thoughts, before.
Very compelling, Ed. Thanks for sharing.

I am trying to fight the algorithms, Rian. No luck yet. Hoping its on an old hard drive in a friends attic. Watch this space.

I did stumble across yourstrawman.com which has a lot of info on this subject for those that don't know.

Wishing the Ed's and everyone else, all the best for the new year! Thanks for all the research.
