So I have a situation and it's really getting on my nerves.
I was on Jobseekers allowance up until a few weeks back as we are having a baby in September so they transferred me to Income Support for the last 11 weeks of the pregnancy and then 15 weeks after the baby is born, after this I go back onto Jobseekers Allowance.
I hope of course I can get a job by then, applying for loads and getting nowhere at the moment but fingers crossed something comes up. I'm unemployed through no fault of my own and I'm no 'lazy bum' like a lot of people call those who are claiming these benefits, I'm willing to work anywhere with any hours immediately.
Point is, at a time like this, first child coming, it should be an exciting time, it is, but it's not at the same time. I'm dreading the thought of going back onto JSA.
My reasons? -
I had to 'officially' move into my partners house in around April time, we wanted to do everything legit. By doing this I got a new adviser or as they call them these days 'work coach' even though they don't try and help you one bit but there you go.
This new adviser has a serious problem with me and I have no idea why, I do everything they ask, and a lot more to be honest. I'm meant to apply for 3 jobs per week, now that to me is pure lazy and stupid you should have to apply for a lot more and I do, I was taking in my job booklet with 20 jobs per week written in it (at least) .
This wasn't good enough for her. The very first appointment I had with her she told me I had to create an online government gateway account, I explained to her I had already, she told me I was wrong because she couldn't see it on the system. I attempted to recover my password but I didn't get the email for it so I assumed my account had been deactivated, somehow? So I went to make an account again for it to inform me I already had an account. Every time I tried to request a new password it just wouldn't send me the details I needed.
The next time I went in I explained it to her and told her as I previously said, I do have an account and there's proof of that when I try to make another it won't let me because there's already one linked. Bare in mind, usually i'd of had these account details noted down but my previous adviser told me it wasn't necessary to use that website and just do my log in the book. But anyway obviously this proved her wrong for previously saying I didn't have this account and she ended up incredibly nasty and said 'make a new account with a new email address or I will have to sanction you today, it's up to you'.
To me you just don't talk to people like that. It's purely disrespect and there's damn right no need for it. I created another email account, did what she asked to then be told I should think out the box more and not have to be told what to do. I explained in the most respectful way I possibly could that if she knew what she was doing on her computer a little more maybe we wouldn't have to have gone through this whole malarkey.
The appointment after that one, I was waiting to be seen and heard her speaking to a couple of other claimants who were on the computers before seeing me. She was polite as hell with them, I have nothing against foreigners not at all. But they were foreign. I thought to myself, maybe she's in a good mood today. I went and sat down and it was the same old nonsense, giving me hassle.
In the end I said to her you obviously have a big problem with me, I use the online account like you requested, I apply for around 7 x more jobs then I'm supposed to, I have multiple CV's for different fields of work, I have a lot of experience elsewhere yet you still have a problem why is that? she responded to me and said it was all irrelevant and that I should try more because what I'm doing obviously isn't working. I said yeah, and the two foreign fellas over there are still here yet I didn't hear you having a go at them.
I feel like she was trying to wind me up to the maximum so I kick off and get sanctioned, nothing would make her happier. Nothing would make me happier to give her a few home truths as well but I can't afford to do that. I'm constantly worrying about going back onto it after the 15 week mark because she'll be my new adviser.
Is there any way I could request a new adviser? or can that not be done? or maybe somewhere I can write to and complain about her?
I think these advisers have to give people some hassle to a certain extent because there's a lot of people on JSA not willing to work and they simply need a kick up the arse. But to be nasty about things is wrong in my opinion and she is brutal.
Apologies for the huge post, the things I have wrote are the basics there's a lot more to it, I even have recordings on my phone of some of the conversations, not all but some.
If you've got this far, thank you for your time.
Sorry before posting I remembered something else - Since we changed made a 'joint' claim, obviously as you well know, money automatically goes into your account fortnightly. Well since I had this adviser, we wasn't getting paid when we should of done (Wednesdays) We had to call up the benefit number and ask why, to which they explained they had no idea why we hadn't been paid automatically and it'll be in by 5pm the same day. This might not be the advisers fault but it does make me wonder because I never had this problem before and it happened every fortnight until we went onto income support.

100 million stars in our galaxy alone.
Planets have been found around a very large majority of them.
Many are in what's considered the "habitable zone" of the solar system.
These numbers alone are mind blowing, now put this theory into the 100 TRILLION galaxies that are in just the observable universe.
We are 100% not alone.

Kaizer - I couldn't agree more. One thing I do respect is peoples beliefs whether you are a Muslim, a christian or whatever else, who is anybody to say you are wrong for doing so.
I understand what you mean, there's too many people quick to point the finger at all muslims because of what's gone / going on and it's wrong, what these uneducated people don't realise is it's not always muslims.

yeap, as much as i'm a believer, i think there are arguments on both sides, either could be true, but i guess we'll only really find out once our time in the world ends.
im a muslim actually, and i'm no expert on the quran myself. but i started as a non-believer myself, quite the opposite i guess?
but i accept healthy debates where people are willing to listen and comment with respect. its just there are too many people listening to reply when we talk about religion, i suppose especially when its about islam nowadays.

I like this mans views.
To me the bible is nothing short of a rule book and as he rightly says (in my opinion) the keyword is 'fear'. We all make mistakes, we're only human, yet when you do as a believer it takes things to another level. We're sinners if we make certain mistakes.
I said this morning, I used to be a believer and I have no problems with other people been believers. I actually envy them. If you can believe in something which you believe is so fantastic as it claims then that's nice, I find it amazing if you can believe in something like this and if it brings comfort then why not. I personally can't.
Most of the ten commandments are obvious and common sense, we don't need a book to tell us how wrong these things are. But it get's into peoples heads. 'If I don't abide by these rules, I'm off to hell'. Well come on, if you don't abide by many of these 'commandments' your off to prison. You don't have to believe in something to know this. It's obvious.
There's tons of different versions of the Bible, it's man's word, not God's. How many more times will it change in let's say the next 50 years? The Bible to me, and other books of god, are to keep people controlled. It's a system to control our minds. You believe it or you don't which is fair enough.
In the states, everybody I knew was a believer or a good 99% of people, as was I. I somehow got brainwashed into it because it was all I was around, I was surrounded by it and got deep into it, I know it sounds stupid but I did. Now I can see that.
It's one of them subject's isn't it, it can cause outrage, wars the whole kit and caboodle, we believe in what we believe in. Governments are no different to the so called Jesus, keep us in check, a system to control us, the laws are there just like the 10 commandments, it's exactly the same thing. I could go on forever but it's getting late.
Just my opinions :)

Yes Corleonea it would be arrogant if we were to think life exists only on this tiny little planet. But if we discover aliens tomorrow, it wouldn't prove or disprove the existence of god. And don't forget we'd also be the aliens to them. Glad you like the Lloyd Pye stuff.

Each to their own opinions of course :)
Thank you Rian for the recommendation just had a quick glance and looks pretty interesting, will keep me busy tonight.
And yes I do agree, Area 51 type of stuff doesn't really do much for me. There's too much nonsense surrounding it.
Many people have religious beliefs, I personally don't but again each to their own. My opinion is, if it could be proved there's indeed aliens out there, it proves there's no god. Again just my thoughts, I know this can be a sore subject. I'm not calling anybody wrong.
I have read the full bible Kaizer over and over again, I studied it via the thompson's study bible and I was once a hardcore believer in it (Only 15 years ago believe it or not) whilst living in America.
You are indeed correct, there's not one book of god which states we are the only ones. But that's an easy way around it. The bible clearly states what god made, how he did it and when he did it over the 7 days. It is very specific what he did. It doesn't say anything about creating another being though does it, if he did why wouldn't that be in the bible? Everything he supposed to have created was put down so why not that bit?
It's one of them subjects, we could debate forever.
I would never try to ruin somebody's belief in religion, I've been there when I came back to the UK and I was looked at as, let's say different due to my beliefs, which wasn't right. So I do appreciate your views :)
Thanks for the replys.

He's considered a moderate liberal in Australia. Also thinks their immigration policy is the best in the world. Tell that to the people locked up on Nauru. Mind you, Australia is a tiny country with massive overcrowding so it's understandable.

Very true, that's one 'good' thing for the countries knackered financially (Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal) to name a few. They know they will get bailed out and what better way to do it by threatening to leave.
You mentioned about pretend Brexit the other day and it interested me your reply to the other fella. I never looked at it the way you do and now I understand exactly where you are coming from and couldn't agree more.
I voted leave and I stand by my vote, having said that, it makes no difference, did i do the right thing? the wrong thing? who really knows. But I personally am on the opinion of ' if you don't vote, you don't have an opinion'.
I'm not clued up as much as you are ed33, you are obviously very well educated with this stuff which I appreciate. Most of what I know is from youtube/ what family has told me.
Want to put more but will do later tonight as in a rush but thanks for pointing me in the direction of the 9/ 11 article, I'll be having a look later mate.
Thank you ed33.

why would it destroy religions? do you know of any religion that mentions human as the only 'being' in the universe?
being silent does not mean no other 'beings' exist.
I certainly feel it is possible that aliens exist, and that believe certainly does not in anyway affect my faith in my religion.

Can you see this happening ed33?
Should a referendum happen personally I think they'll be 'out' what that means is debatable.
May I ask ed33 what your personal opinions of the EU are? apologies if you have already said what you think previously, I've not looked back much further.
I know a German firefighter, he told me he wished they'd have a referendum and also states it'd be a landslide (to leave) unlike how it was with the UK referendum. See personally I can't see them having the option.
I have to be honest I'm not totally clued up this particular subject, but it does interest me, I love my conspiracy theories, don't get me started on 9/ 11 lol if you've done an article on that please point me in the right direction :)

Is there a particular group or person that have good info on this?
I've seen a story about admiral bird and his Antarctic flight and a little on agartha, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting reports.
