it will always happen when people least expect it.
the euros were a prime example of the media pushing how much security there will be at the games and the authorities are on top of any threats. but nobody remembers these events after a while but doing it on bastille day its subliminally etched on peoples minds

the euros had the so called fan trouble which was created to show the audience that the police/ army could deal with an 'event' but failed miserably

turkey got stopped before it got anywhere. so what's next?

If you watch some videos the army are been very reluctant to kill civilians although some were killed st the bridge. They could have slaughtered all the people hanging on their tanks. I think once the people turned the coup was never going to be a success .

Wow, one way to stop a coup, Erdogan knew how, to get civilians involved and set them up against the coup. Imo, terrible thing to do, I. e when all else fails, send in your own people. if anything was to happen to them, the military personnel involved in the coup would be treated as terrorist, he's got it worked out,

Airforce and navy seem to be backing government not army. Still no statement from NATO.

Extraordinary night. Civilians pouring onto the streets. No popular support for coup it seems.

Depends. It's only a faction of the army. Also Turkey isn't the most trusted member of nato.

The U. N. will probably mobilize a response/ invasion force all under the guise of peacekeeping.

Also where is the logic in giving someone last year's flu when they really should have this year's flu. As viruses mutate, you will never be injected with the correct strain using current methods.

It's hard to believe with Turkey being such a prominent member of the NATO army that UK / USA had no prior knowledge.

Sad to say you are probably right sanogo
Personally I've never liked Blair or the Labour Party,
I couldn't see why they where liked till you look back in history and that is no good for this period in time .
Ukip look like they have a problem with infiltrators, I could be wrong and lib dems are syco lol
And the cons are the cons .
So it looks like the raving loony party it is!
Are they still going lol?
