I honestly don't get it. Not to insult anyone or belittle anyone's beliefs. Everyone needs a code to guide them through life. But all the nasty petty things that seem to occur. Killing each other over old books that essentially say the same thing. Not socialising with people because they're the "wrong" code. Not being able to marry a person you love because their beliefs are slightly different to your families. I preferred being a godless communist. And yes that wasn't perfect either.

No protests have been reported at all. I've also been over in Germany recently and even some of them are starting to be a little fed up with things.

I hear you loud and clear ed. I was just surprised, people need to see the good in people and not live off the scabs of old wounds. I been a Yorkshire man born in 82 could not comprehend years of hurt pain and bigotry! But in the last 6 months I've had the absolute privilege to work with a man from ballymena a catholic dude and he is very well read and a gentleman in his 60s and I've had some wonderful convosations with the guy and he has told me chapter and verse about his childhood in NI and I understand it so much better now! I have always taken as I find and I think people need to see the bigger picture and what I am before an Englishman or anything is that I'm a father and that is my castle .

U said I was wrong about English being discriminated against in certain areas that is all I said at
First then I told you reasons as to why I thought and believe this to be the case
And all u did was throw insults
Talking of the prisons from 14-to 21/ 22 I was in jail then got release
Then I straightend out had kids and was a delivery driver for 3-4 years
Start of this year I lost my license
My dumb fault 100 percent and then lost my job
I got work again but only agencies work
Even in that hole 3 years working as a delivery driver I would have struggled to pay rent for house 900 per month leaving only 350 after tax left to live of with kids
For food gas and electricity
The money needed to by a house in Southampton 3 bed is 180 thousand pounds
Or 900 a week rent
So people like me relied on being able to buy from council at a cheaper rate just like all the older generation where able to do
And most people probably like u have family that are able to leave something behind so u can then have a bit of a boost
And the cost of living was more in line
But there is no chance of this
My family are fully supplied for
And do not mention my partner or kids
Like a cheeky personing way u did
You clearly did not read
My mum is with a Afghan Muslim
And the 18 odd African English cousins I got are not what ever insult u thought u could throw at me or them.

I grew up in the north of Ireland in the 70s was a young adult in the 80s . My first experience of meeting a coloured person was when I was maybe 8-10 years old 71-73. He had a uniform on and along with is mates was kicking the bejazus out of a couple of older boys. It left an impression on me. For a few years I assumed black people in England were soldiers looking to harm us.
Thanks to my father and a couple of teachers I've learned that 1 coloured soldier doesn't represent all coloured people but the uniform represented an oppressive army.
In to modern life, my work has taken me all over Ireland and the UK. In Scotland as you say ed due to my birth place the old, what team do you support was usually 1 of the first questions asked. In the north the old what's you name and where are you from, Travelling to England esp Manchester airport and Holyhead port you got more attention than you really wanted.
What I've discovered this last while is a quite a few of the "Irish" 2nd 3rd generation are pretty hostile towards immigrates and not really grasping onto the whole Irish spread around the world thing and how famine and war forcrd their generations before to flee there native land.
By far the most shocking display of racism I've come across is at present on the building sites of London atm where there is an open display of hostility towards coloured people from the Eastern European contingent. Its a world wide problem which stems from over nationality and over religious thoughts planted by the system as a method of control.

I worked in London the 80s and 90s, I got descrimated against, even though I'm from the south I was seen as a northern terrorist, but I had to grin and bare it get my head down, there was nothing in Ireland for me at the time, and I can safely say thenough worst jobso I had was working in the buildings for Irish companies, back breakers, and the worst ones are the connemara boys from the west, best companies I worked for were English boys, ironically my best mate was a fanatic Millwall boy, there I was a manchester united, celtic fan with a Milwall, rangers fan, I went to the den a few times with him and he used to say to me don't talk when we go in here, my irish accent would have got me in trouble in there, I couldn't go in to some of his local pubs, I bought him to cork for a few days and their I saw him getting descrimated against cause of his cockney accent, but we thought it was funny, he was lucky my mother liked him.

I think you need to understand the real agenda Southampton and it seems to me reading all your previous post (in which ed posts because you are allowed an opinion and not in support) is that you are becoming radicalised in the same way those nut cases who do it in the same way under the name of Islam.

We need to understand that things need to change and in my opinion the lefty liberal dumb arses are to blame and with that like vid suggests it has been made very difficult to suggest anything on the contrary because of the racist who use the st George's cross and union flag ( jack if on a ship ) this country needs to look at immigration and that's for the safety and also the fact the country is over populated. Wether or not your a rasist is not the point but in my opinion your posts and opinion on the situation is not helping the situation.

I understand that things might seem unfair and I could tell you about my life and how I am potless even though I have earned £75 k a year for the last half a decade, it has nothing to do with Muslims and it highlights just another shit system that we live in. We need to be sensible and look at the bigger picture and try to identify the real culprits and not fall for the anti Muslim propaganda that you have fallen for. Like the ed said look after your own destiny and make life work for you.

I got smart and I now no longer play the governments game any longer and I'm happier and better of. Get smart take control and don't bitch and deflect from the real issues that are holding you back.
