Republic of Ireland? Isn't the manager Giovanni Trappatoni quite wealthy? Surely that would be against uefa rules though? Ryan.

Well if its not Iran (the obvious one) or Israel (the unlikely one)

Then what's left. Iraq they've been in. Syria is underway.

Lebanon is too small and unimportant.

Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, the Emirates ate all "onside"

Yemen is unimportant.

It only leaves Saudi. Especially as its the only one that could affect the oil price like that.

Captain I think in the 2 high profile cases this week that intent was clearly there and they didn't need a helping hand as you put it.

As it is in the states the last few cases of twarthed bomb threats might have a connection to how the poster is framing this. Each of these bomb threats were stopped by the FBI when they 'infiltrated' individuals or groups. The problem is that the FBI escalated the ideas these people had, going along with and encouraging them to carry out their wishes. Now they may have had an idea originally to want to attack but it was only with the help of the authorities that these fantasies appeared to reach fruition. These people also got life in essence for their original thought. Surely we are all allowed to think what we want to? It should be only when your actions are a threat to people that you get condemmed. I have great trouble with the sneaky way the US uses this system and would hope it stays over there.

They'll find it hard to get money from ordinary Irish people as they don't have money in bank accounts. We owe everything we earn at the moment.

I believe in god as in something either created us or helped us along I don't believe this nonsense about religion It hink the hindus are right when they say they live different lives after we die but the "afterlife" is not decided by some hypocritical all knowing god who one minute says you go to hell if you do something bad then says "I forgive all" Religion that's all about peace only causes war, WW2 War on Terror, Cruasades, The Troubles so on and so forth

I wouldn't say that helps creationists mate! Nothing can help anyone who is that commuted to their belief, these people probably believ the young earth theory as well! Anyone who believes the earth is only 6000 years old isn't even worth debating with because they "believe" that much no evidence will change their mind! Take away the holy books (all of them) and not one person would mention such an absurd idea! It's a cop out for people who don't like not having answers, and that is very unfortunate for our species!

Glasgow {Ed001's Note - it does help creationists, because their theory would leave no trail to follow and no missing link to find. Though it doesn't prove anything one way or the other.}

Ed, you know you can rule out creationism, it's bonkers anyone an actually believe that, especially without any evidence! The atoms we are made up of come from a star explosion billions of years ago somewhere out there. We are a mixture of many different things, but mainly all on a molecular/minuscule level. I know u more than likely know things like that and loads more, so that's why I'm struggling to see why you won't rule out creationism! We didn't just appear, it's taken billions if years, and because some people (I'm not saying you) can't see evolution happening, they won't believe it! It's crazy!

Jay
Glasgow {Ed001's Note - but there is no evolutionary evidence of humanity, it just literally appears in the fossil record fully formed. If it has taken billions of years, we really should be able to find some evidence of a missing link. Until we do, then some form of creationism, whether by scientists or gods, can not be absolutely ruled out. In fact, without that evidence, credence is added to the creationism theory, as there should be no evidence with that.}

This is what I'm talking about! So because there are slight gaps, that means there was tinkering or whatever? What evidence suggests that can be remotely possible? It's ridiculous ed!

Peace
Jay
Glasgow {Ed001's Note - but the gaps are huge. There aren't slight gaps, there are massive gaping holes. There is nothing, then there are us. We didn't come from any obvious source, we just appear with no evolutionary link. Until something is found to fill in the gap a little, it is ridiculous to rule out any theory, just because your own personal bias finds it incredible. As an atheist, I find the creationist story extremely difficult to believe, but I have to accept that it can't be ruled out and so has to remain as a possible option. No matter how distasteful I find the idea of someone meddling with us, whether a god or some ancient scientist/alien whatever.}

All the western abrahamic religions are bankrupt. Judaism, christianity and islam all caught in a repetitive cycle of blood all over lies. The only ones worthy of the name of religion are the eastern religions, hinduism, bhuddism etc.

There's a difference between fantasy and planning though.

I'm sure a lot of people after a bad day at work have fantasised about blowing up the offoce/ shop/ factory whereever.

How many actually go home and look up how to make a bomb? Find other people who think the same? Go to a terrorist training camp?

The intent was there to commit murder on innocent people.

Life was the correct sentence and should actually mean life, not out in 15 years.

Prison should be first and foremost a deterrent and also a way to rehabilitate people, not seen as a holiday camp with play stations and sky on tap.
