That's not what I find strange ed! I find it strange that people can believe things without any evidence at all, like the creation thing or the genetic tinkering thing. Where is ANY evidence backing these claims up?

Until you can fill in those gaps, if they can be filled, they will remain as evidence of someone or something altering things. Then it is finding the theory which best suits the knowledge at hand. So pea, I take it you have a degree in science, biology or whatever it may be to make such statements? where is the evidence of "genetic tinkering" you speak of?
And ed, really? you don't accept evolution as fact? even with all the brightest minds in the world accepting it, no doubts whatsoever? until proven otherwise (with real evidence) then you must accept it, not like it, but accept it because cmon, it makes most sense and there is plenty of evidence backing it up. Unlike many other theorys people seem to accept with NO evidence, strange!

As for our brightest minds, they are as limited as our knowledge, as are we all. I don't see what is strange about not being convinced by a theory that has as many holes as evolution.}

Its a tough question, I will put it like this, if police intelligence know there is a pedo in your area and he is plotting to attack a child I think I am right they can not arrest him/her without strong evidence and it probably works the same way with terrorism which make it bloody hard to find out who the real culprits are and who are the fall guys.

I don't have beliefs, I have thoughts. Limited evolution is patantly obvious. Interspecies "evolution" is palpable nonsense (without genetic 'tinkering', that is) - albeit loaded with all the hubris and folly of so much invested 'belief' by the present western world. pea

I would define plotting as making a definitive plan to do something, and gathering the resources to actually carry it out in a meaningful way. Being put into prison for plans, not actions, is the first step to a police state IMO. It's not this particular case that really bothers me, but the general idea. My point is that proving INTENT to carry out a plot/plan, rather than someone just fantasising etc is by definition a subjective call and is therefore open to all sorts of abuse by the powers that be. I see your point about the media being owned but it could be a editor of a newspaper who one day sez f--- it, to get the ball rolling, that's all it takes, wikileaks proved there are people still around with a conscious.

That’s just it, there has been a few whistle blowers but they have been made out to be cuckoo/crazy/demented by the media as it doesn’t fit with their schedule. I agree it would take something huge like another form of life coming down, hopefully revealing the truth. Maybe, they have tried to come down but stopped. ala. space wars. just saying.

If a whistle blower spoke out about something big would the media actually put it out there as its owned by the elite and no doubt whoever it is would be dead before they could. Ahhhhhh were screwed! Unless another life form were to arrive

Many years ago there would be a thought out plan how to assassinate someone that could of leaked vital information now it is done with gay abandon, its like two fingers up to everyone with a brain and saying "you can't do anything"

Judging by the last 12 years I would say yes I won't list them all because you all know. I am hoping for a watergate/hillsborough moment were somebody with balls exposes the corruption in the higher escalon of society, or a earthquake that hits capitol hill and downing street.
