Could not agree more edd about johnson as for the guy with no name on about galloway loving the limelight like I said I am not disagreeing with you but he can smell the bs on why we are in the middle east and did stand up to them which I admire, you seem to be missing the point of the post I am not saying miliband is better than cameron or vice versa, I don't trust any of them hence who we would have running the country in a perfect world, so the floor is yours mr anonymous poster your top 3 people in a perfect world would be?

frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - obviously I will be top of everyone's list, so make it top 3 other than me to keep it interesting.....}

But his standing up to the yanks was just him trying to look good in the limelight again. I'd rather british politicians stood up to brussels a bit more. I've no problem with public school boys running for politics, and its not just tories either labour are as bad for it. The problems are a lack of transparency and the rise of a professional political class who think they know everything but have no experience of real life. Cameron is a posh boy, posh school, top uni, only worked in politics no real world experience. But Miliband is just as bad, posh boy, posh school, top uni, only ever worked in politics. Both are millionaires. So what's the difference. Now don't get me wrong, i'm from a mining family, five generations labour supporters all down the pit so thatcher isn't popular. But she came from ordinary background, knew real life, etc etc before she went lunatic. Who in politics today has had any sort of exposure to real life? Who today genuinely speaks for the people?

Likable Lp? I hate to see who you hate then.

frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I detest that vile piece of **** Johnson, he is one **** I would enjoy seeing get his comeuppance. There is nothing foolish about him, though he does like to fool people into thinking he is a fool. The man is scum, end of.}

hes seems like the real deal. i'm a lot more interested on what happens after death and the frequencies etc and the aliens rather than the elite or illuminati. if his business is in newcastle then it'll only be a short bus drive for me to get there. definitely going to do a bit more research on him and buy his books.

Boris johnson proves a attention seeking fool who has a privileged upbringing and who goes to the right public school can get himself anywhere near politics shows how messed up our system is, yes totally agree about Brian gerrish. its a pity he was not a ex-england football captain who scored the winning goal in the world cup final.

{Ed033's Note - How about, 1. Brian Gerrish, 2. Ian R. Crane, 3. Richard D. Hall?

Ed33 I can well believe it, but at least Gump was a likeable character.

Franky, I don't get the Galloway thing, he just does stuff to be controversial so then it gets him publicity, anyone who goes around calling himself Saddam's best mate, or pretending to be a cat on big brother isn't really fit to speak for the people.

Lp I do like Boris he's entertaining but wouldn't trust him to run things, I dunno, could be an act.

It would be a start if the Labour party stopped neglecting its core voters and had some policies for the working class. Ed miliband is useless and needs to go, although I was against him from the minute he started moaning about "middle Britain" and going on about the poor middle classes. Worst Labour leader since Foot and at least he had an idea, Ed miliband seems totally cluless at times look at the batterings he gets every week at question time. And Balls is no better sitting there all smug when it was him and Brown that largely got us into this mess! Tory double agents the lot of them!

{Ed033's Note - Allegedly, Ed miliband's nick name in politics is, Forest Gump.

Edd its going to have to be you and edd33 and me as your understudy, I really can't think of anyone, they need to be iconic as a beckham the working class values as a carra and maybe a politician who can read in between the lines like a galloway.

Ed if you go to the butcher he will even tell you which farm the beef steak used in the mince has come from, the problem is with processed food it's beggars belief that we have such a sophisticated tracing system for joints etc. however it's been 10 years since anyone has tested the processed stuff.

I'd also suggest to avoid any pre packed sandwiches, I know people who have worked in those places and trust me you don't wanna know. All i'll say is avoid anything with Prawns, mayo and cheese in.

Labour/conservatives/liberal makes no difference, what we need is a independent who can grab the peoples imagination, to me it has to be a public figurehead, a bit like Jesse ventura in the usa, hopefully ventura will run for election in 2015 {i think}but like he said he needs the public behind him or its not worth it, I am trying to think of a equivalent figurehead from this country any ideas?

frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - is this your way of hinting franky? Not sure I have the time to stand, but I will consider it for you.....}

How about the Labour party in Britain adopting a policy where everything in a dead persons estate over the value of half a million pounds, including lands and estates be returned to the exchequer. The funds created to be used for social projects like education (vocational apprenticeships for non-academic youngsters). Could the recent tax avoidance hearings be used as a platform to build from.

Sev. {Ed001's Note - is that per claimant or just in total half a million? Only spreading it between a lot of descendants would spread it out too, but still allow a parent to help their kids.}
