Personaly i thnk because we are all told that we are in recession and prices rise (petrol, etc,etc) it crates a negativity and that negativity spreads so more people moan and bitch, whereas if we were not in recesseion and things were good then people would be more positve. i suppose i people dont exactley realise what they already have and just be happy with that - it is much easier to moan.

He was a very academic mathmatician and only just got employed as a code breaker for MI5 or MI6. My guess is he maybe did to good a job! I've posted before about it and his death has a bit of a Russian tinge about it.

I don't necessarilly agree with the service's bit. My wife is a staff nurse and as far as I'm concerned the majority of them do a great job. The problem is they are target driven, scrutinised and sometimes prosecuted for making mistakes and get frequently verbally and physically abused.
The same can be said for schools and the police to some extent. What I don't agree with is when they complain of lack of funds like the police when driving top of the range/ modified german fleet cars instead of british cars (if there are any left?) and in both the police force and NHS people at the top earning £150kpa to £250k+ pa some of which have no true experience in the actual proffession. Then I meet policemen and teachers who just do the best within the parameters they are given.
Community spirit and family life will get stronger one day hopefully but I fear it will just continuously dwindle away. Thats life i suppose...where's the vino tinto?

Yeah I agree with you Andy, there are a minority of man utd fans were I live and they chant murderers etc, it gets me all Angre inside n hurts so much but I just laugh it off, I think another good point is that quite a lot of man utd fans I know supported a different team pre 1992/93 etc, but that's football and everyone can support whoever they want to

Franky I deffo agree with the media's soft spot for teh southern clubs. It's so infuriating. They can do nothing wrong. Like the Chelsea fans singing abuse about hisborough haven't hardly been reported at all. The John terry rascim row to me seemed so much less condemed than Suarez's. Just seems like everybody in todays society supports one of the London clubs

Firstly any person who disrespects the victims of Hillsborough is not a true fan and i am ashamed that they would in anyway be associated with my club and anyone caught doing it should get a life ban for all stadiums. End of.

As a club we have experienced tragedy, with the aircrash and should be standing shoulder to shoulder with our neighbours, especially given the similiarities between the cities as Franky said. Our cities have contributed so much to the culture of this country, virtually all the best bands come from one or the other city.

However the rivalry kicks in and this rivalry is always stirred up by the London based media in order to keep us from uniting together.

The sad thing is a lot of fans do not know the clubs history. The '58 side exists only in black and white photo's and a few clips of film. Most don't know our greatest manager played for Liver pool (and City) back in the 30's. Most do not know the role Liverpool played after the crash.

I'll admit like Franky (but from the opposite viewpoint) that you are not my favourite club and a couple of your players i downright detest, but your achievements have to be respected and i do respect you compared to the Cities and Chelsea's of this world and persons like John Terry.

In all any fan who is stupid or insensitive enough to do anything come match day please do not think that this is the general attitude of all United fans, they are very much in the minority. Please feel free to check out the messages on the United page.

Lastly good luck in your continuing efforts against the corruption and in finally bringing those responsible to justice and the truth.

I totally agree with you, great post, there will always be a small minority that shame every club unfortunately , where I come from I have a lot of friends who support man utd and some mention we are murderers meaning what happened in heysel all those years ago in 85 and meaning hillsborough etc..... It saddens me that people still go on and on about it! Whats even worse is some use to support liverpool when they were young........Liverpool and man utd are very alike in a lot of ways, more than people realise.....I hate man utd as much as the next guy but you have to respect them as a

The argument that if humans multiply then we just multiply livestock makes no sense ,we would need bigger areas to house more livestock , more motorways are being built to accommodate more cars taking up more countryside,it wont affect me in my lifetime but i can imagine my great grandchildren in say 60 years being a total nightmare.

The polar caps situation its due to a minimal destabilization of the magnetic field its a natural occurrence, plus the fact that there are much bigger activity in the North to help the melting.
Governments can and do hide a lot from us but there are people out there that manage to bring out the truth, just need to be on the lookout for them
