25 Nov 2016 18:02:04 Big Al, a question if I may. Genarlow Wilson, a student in the USA, was sentenced to 11 years in jail and life on the sex offenders register because he received oral sex from a 15 year old girl when he was 17. Do you think this punishment was appropriate? I certainly don't.
If you don't either then you have some common ground with the authors of this bill, it was designed to protect consenting and committed youths from being charged with statutory rape.
Rightly, the population of Turkey pointed out that such a bill could be used to protect child molesters and promote the practice of taking child brides and so it was rejected. The intent of the author can be understood and the reactions of the Turkish people can be praised.

Muslims probably take there religion more serious than any other religion, to them Mohammed is a role model they think hees beautiful and perfect. Imo Islam is an outdated religion (like most) . He gave his side of his story on simply vocalising any criticism towards Islam and his opinion on both Islam and radical Islam.
Why is it Christianity is constantly bashed and can be scrutinised but people are open to talking civilised about it / yet people especially high profile who criticise Islam are sent death threats, targeted and careers are on the line? Look at geert wilders. He's on police protection for life! And the Dutch government is taking him to court to censor him. He's been sued and brought to court many times for simply REPEATING what's in the quaran. How the hell can people not see what's going on here? I'm finished on talking about Islam for a while anyway.

Same sex marriage is now legal in most western countries I believe . Clear flexibility and acceptance . Of course there are Christians who disagree with same sex couples and marriage but it's world's apart from Islam. It's a polite "no I don't agree" but you're not killed for being lgbt. Why for example have Polish people and we've seen mass immigration into Britain assimilated so well as a whole? Because the majority are Christians.
