franky, the non-violent revolution is on going and has been for a while, though we rarely receive news from that front.
Stories of peace in the face of war and rebellion in the face of fear make marketable books and movies, but not articles.
An alternate theory could be the existence of a conspiracy through which events that could potentially inspire global rebellion, are stoped from reaching the public.

I know were your coming from garbo, any disturbing story over kids/elderly and animals really gets to me, in the old days when I read the papers I only read the sports news, it depressed me reading horror stuff and still does but I force myself to read a story, now that I read the alternative media I find a more balanced view, were it accuses certain important people that would never get named on a main broadsheet, one thing I can not do is looking at animal cruelty images, I literally feel like punching my door in.
