Well growbun maybe it is because its a nationalist movement born out of the Jewish religion/movement, I would start there if I was you. You could look it up as well. There are a lot of religions/movements doing wrong in the world including Israel government (zionists) yet they don't try and hide it as much as others because they believe it is certainly in their right, and that includes oppressing people and depriving people of their need to feel they have a place of their own. It is their perceived right to live better than anyone else, and them believing they have this god given right rather than all of us having a right to dictate our own future and choose our own paths (not knocking people for choosing Judaism) , that really annoys me. And that's my take on zionism/Israeli government and the like. p. s. I throw neocons and other fundamentalists into this basket as well.

I am lightly read up on this subject so its a very simplistic view of the situation, and again in my opinion.

Just watched the Aaron Russo interviews from this. So when I then searched the web (thinking he was alive) realised that he died shortly after those interviews . Makes your blood run cold.

Look into the Zionists.

Not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jewish.

Sorry posted in a hurry. I went to uni just outside of Kennesaw and was aware of this law. The thing that concerned me wasn't just the law but the belligerent belief that the 2nd amendment was the most important of all rights. From what I recall of my constitutional history classes it is the right to bear arms in the face of tyranny.

To make a mandatory law dictating the possession of anything is in the extreme but this one was always a cause for concern to me. Especially as I knew several 'Good Old Boys' who despite wealth were not playing from a full deck and would not hesitate to shoot first and ask questions later ala Trayvon Martin.

Given the high crime rates as a woman I can see the point in having some protection at home.

Just don't see the point of being able to walk into a shop and 10 minutes later walk out with an armalite with barely any checks. Ok can still kill with a hand gun but compared to an assault rifle.

yes Kennesaw sounds a strange place , if the ban was successful which I doubt hopefully cops would not carry guns but I doubt that would happen as well.

cheers for the reply.

What I mean is I do believe that there should be restrictions, such as

1. One hand gun for one person, no more, and no automatic weapons as Kim says

2. Was talking to my dad so this information may be incorrect, but he told me there's a country / was a country (can't remember which one) who made sure when you bought the gun, you had scans done, pictures taken ect I think that could go along way to stopping some amount of shootings

I've always been under the impression Americas problem is cultural , not the guns.

Although, I really do not know how to solve their problem, they're in a tough predicament

Some people feel the need to have one for protection. As I said I can see the need for something like a handgun. Or people in the countryside something like a shotgun or rifle.

But machineguns? Not at all.

Why would a good person want a gun? Strange post.

I don't see the need to own an automatic rifle or machine gun. Hand guns, shot guns and rifles fair enough. I can use two of these myself.

ahh I see, yeah funny enough I felt that, like one week you would have an episode that was very current affairs around that time and instead of milking it for a series , they put it all in 1 show. then the next week it would be something that was the complete opposite, like a killer clown haha.

There is some good stuff on it frankie as you know. One of my favourite episodes is "paperclip"? As well as the 2nd part of the very last one of the series. I just think a few things that chris carter come out with during the last couple of series suggested that someone or group were having an influence over him. Of course I could have been reading between the lines and misinterpreted it.

In fact it might have been a new series of x files come to think of it. With both Duchovny and Gillian anderson.
