not sure why anyone would want to get themselves decorated with a picture of a murderer. I'd go with the the vinci option would be different and cool.

Yeah Bobby was a true hero. who got caught fleeing from a gunfight in a car after leaving two of his injured fellow terrorists behind. But of course honour and decency are never really at the core of terrorists. oops I mean freedom fighters. I would love to see what it would be like without drug dealing, pimping, extorting of either persuasion in Northern Ireland who claim to be the guardians of their cause. If you are going to choose a hero from ulster stick to van morrison or George Best.
Oh and before you drag religion into it please remember that at its very core - christianity is meant to be about peace and goodwill to ALL men.

What about Vetruvian man Franky lad, nice little symbol of who we are. CM68
Read discussionGood shout about the classic Che pic, interesting call about bobby sands I was a teenager when he was on hunger strike a bit like Che he died for his beliefs.
Read discussionIt sounds weird but its true Columbia was less violent when he was running things, another thing when players blame the pressure of a penalty shootout for getting beat think what those columbia's players went threw now that's pressure.
Read discussionA friend of mine got a tattoo of Che about 10 years ago, it looks class but I now know of 4 or 5 different fellas who have the same tattoo. If I was getting a Che Guevara one done I'd definitely stay away from the face on the t-shirt which is so common.
Always wanted one of Bobby Sands but it's a tetchy subject here in N.I.

You can watch them on this site here. I'm not sure if the eds. can post a link so maybe they can email it to you if you ask.

Just navigate through the ads and shut them down and you're sorted. I'll be interested to see what you think of the show.

I read the book 'Killing Pablo' a while back Frank, cracking read, he left his Robin Hood-Esq mark on me
Read discussionI watched this on Netflix a while ago. It is one of the most thought provoking documentaries that I have ever seen and makes you wonder about certain football club owners in today's game. Also it proves how much power that Pablo had and how Columbia was actually a safer place with him running the cartels.

maybe some bull took a fancy to him who knows. I agree that an ordinary person like most on this board would find it highly unlikely of being moved. I also agree that most people guilty of fraud should not be clogging up prison and should be fined and only jailed if unable to pay. But that goes for ordinary people as well as politicians.

What site captain have you a link?
Read discussionMelbourne mate like I have said many times on here, if we all agreed with each other it would be a boring site and I do respect your point of view it is just my honest feelings on this topic.
Read discussionI realise it is still very much double standards, but unfortunately that's how it is for most things. You have to look at it from the governments point of view whether you agree with it or not. The unfortunate truth is Frankies mate, that ended up unfortunately ending his life didn't end up on the front page of papers. If this bloke did that it would be plastered everywhere and a lot of questions would be asked about the states ability to protect inmates from eachother etc.
I don't condone it, as you'll see from my agreement with Frankie on my previous post, but I can still understand why they have done it, even though I don't agree with the double standards used.

After seeing the ad on sky I downloaded the ten episodes that have already been shown in the states. They are also available to watch free online.

Agreed melbourne they have prob moved him more because of the threat of violence so in turn he would get bribed in to paying for protection of some sort which does happen to high profile people, it cuts no ice with me a lad that I knew who was doing time and tried to get to a open prison because certain people had a beef with him, after two months of trying he hung himself in he's cell.
Read discussionIf his safety was an issue then he could have been segregated. I have been in prison for less serious offences than this guy and I was banged up 23 hours a day. No open jail for me and I do not have a history of violence etc.
Double standards for rich and poor.

Spot on the whole way through Franky. If someone that didn't have this blokes profile they wouldn't get special treatment. But at the same time, someone with this blokes profile and previous position is often seen as an easy target inside. There is a good chance he was moved for his own safety rather then because of a pay off.

Jonty no problem disagreeing mate, you might know the justice system a hell of a lot better than me but I am speaking from experience with family and friends.
Read discussionFranky I agree with a lot of what you post here but I have to agree with the other guy, I have some understanding of the justice system and this is the norm, it stinks however if it had been me or you we would have ended up in the same place.

Was not shouting feller I was trying to make my point stand out without getting drawn in to a argument about class or anything else, if you think a former politician should be treated differently to the majority of people who have done the same thing then more power to you, since you have not put your name at any time to your posts I will call you flamethread if you don't mind?.
