So I've just finished the first missing 411 book and I have to say it's all very odd.
From his interviews I tonight not many children came back bit after reading one book it would appear most do.
I first jumped to supernatural stuff when I first heard of his books bit after reading my mind is strongly leaning towards cryptids in the forest.
Anyone else read them?

Hi guys, with lots of talk on the forums of secret agents etc I was hoping a few could help me.
My great uncle I have found out from the ever excellent Kimphilby on this great site was a MI6 spy.
I have been trying to find out more on him and his visit to Angola in the 70's and apparent 'death', I use that term as my father knows he didn't die there because he took a call from him years later asking for my grandad (his brother) and after realising it was the son hung up. My family never receiving anything from a body to bury or his belongings backs this theory up imo.
Anyways my question is, how easy is it to become a spy for MI6? I have read and been told by a a few people that it would not of been that difficult for him to find himself in that role, while others maintain its a very trusted position.
Sorry to be asking people here it's just my family seem to just shut up whenever I mention my great uncle and brush me off with silly stories about him.
The impression I got is its quite easy and he maybe just found himself in that role for that particular assignment and it's nothing to look into, am I right?
Cheers again guys, any opinions in this subject would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get my son into finding out about my families shady past as well as our good past :)

Hey guys me again :)
I love the site and although don't post much I love reading it.
Thought I'd finally share some interesting things on my family and hopefully get some info on what to look for as such.
Now my grandfather, he was a mercenary in Angola in his life but the interesting thing is his brother. His brother was a lucky git and always seemed to find the bed of roses in manure.
He also followed his brother to Africa to fight for the then leader against the rebels.
The thing is my grandad (a very no nonsense man) has always maintained his brother was working for an elite force, A plant if u like. Now I don't know exactly what happened over there but I know he is in a book called firepower.
I haven't read it yet and for some reason I always put it off.
But anyway my grandads brother was called Vic, and he was supposed to of died not long after his stint fight with my grandad.
However, it's said a lot in my family that he was indeed not dead but alive, and my dad swears blind he once took a call and when he answered a voice on the other end said "Brian it's Vic" before quickly realizing it was the son and the phone went dead.
My dad joined the army and soon after getting in and joining his platoon has told me he was took off for something special involving northern Ireland but that's all he was willing to say over text and as I have only recently found more out about this I haven't had time.
Now the reason I'm asking this is becuase I'm hoping someone will have a few answers on Angola and why mercenaries were there and if any English involvement higher up would of been there and what exactly Vic was up too.
Thanks guys, for even reading this and answers are much appreciated.

so with France pushing for the attacks to be treated as an act of war if accepted does that mean the whole of the eu is in war?
if rejected there are talks he could go to Putin for alliance?
sorry I'm not very clued up on any of this stuff.

Today my mum sent me a few links to a stand up comic named Bill Hicks.
That bloke knew what was up.
If anyone hasn't heard of him go check him out. Sadly he died a while back but it shows people were wise to America and there ways years ago.

Recently I watched the documentary called 9/11 the new pearl harbour.
Got me thinking about good old lucky Larry.
Now how anyone can't see this man was not directly involved in knowing the events were going to happen is beyond me.
So my question is, why was he used to buy the towers and at what benefit to those who told him?
The towers were full of asbestos and needed to spend well over a billion to sort them out or 100's of millions a year to keep them safe.
They had recently lost a court case to have the insurance companies pay for it and then lo and behold! an attack costs the insurance companies nearly 5 billion.
Not bad work for 3 months for lucky Larry.
