Leave. Your the 5th largest economy in the world its hardly likely everyone is going to stop trading with you. Especially the emerging markets of Asia and the Americas not to mention the commonwealth.
You pay all this money into a club that only wants you for your money. Everytime you mention any attempt at reform ot gets blocked.

To be honest its not needed. The Kremlin has its own presidential guard who are highly trained. The army, the militia/ policia and fsb all have their own troops in Moscow. There's plenty there to crush any uprising.
You are correct. Smart and arrogant that's our Vladimir alright.
Id highly doubt the Americans could instigate a revolution. The Russian mistrust of foreigners remains. All Russian tv is state owned and regularly broadcasts anti western propaganda. Putin controls Russia very firmly. If a revolution happens its because the people are finally fed up with backsliding into totalitarian dictatorship. But I won't hold my breath.

There was a plan in invading Afghanistan?
The bs they sold it on was helping our fraternal afghan socialist brothers and sisters. Total bs as that part of the world is nowhere near ready for any form of socialism.
Reality. Well mineral rich territory. Stepping stone to India one way or Iran the other way. Probably the dream of future access to a warm water port.
Reality. Costly failure that hastened the end of the user. And I lost a nephew there.
Not a part of the world to meddle in unless you know what your doing. Which noone ever does. Cruel barbarous people which your finding out after importing them wholesale.

Some interesting things there.
I would have said even America isn't crazy enough to tangle with china. The soviets came close in the 60s but backed off.
Hilary is a truly scary prospect. I know all the attentions on Trump and he doesn't come across as the most balanced. But something about Hilary scares me.

That's really interesting. One of the other articles states the plan was to erect 100s of these arches across the planet. But it appears the New York one is on hold.
