Kremlin is reporting they have evidence of turkey buying this oil. i'd imagine the money gets transferred from bank to bank which is what corbyn was saying about going after the banks.

I've mentioned Able Archer '83 a few times.
I was in London at the time. It was frantic. The Kremlin and Moscow centre were in full panic mode.

Turkeys playing a dangerous game. They're using the mess in syria to try and wipe out the Kurds and using nato memberships to cover themselves.

Having everyone in an uncoordinated effort was always going to lead to a mess. This is moving faster than I expected.
Yes Putin won't take just an apology. I do think he will push to see how nato reacts.
And thank you MrJonesy.

Well both Putin and erdogun are head cases. They have to be a public strong man so its a matter of prestige.
It depends on how willing the rest of nato is to support turkey.
But Obama is a coward and backs down constantly. Putin has the measure of him. France needs Russia's support in the UN for its anti Isis coalition so Putin can threaten the veto. And no one really pays any attention to Cameron.
I can see turkey being pressured into an apology for a quick response. But it won't go down well.

A bit like Obama coming after bush. Obama's continued the deregulation of the financial industry and further eroded civil liberties.
To be honest I've never seen such a motley collection of presidential candidates.

Exactly. Just view all the available evidence and make your mind up. I don't agree with everything but I do concede that some things do fit.
Regards the passports. Its standard operating procedure for undercover agents to carry a passport. Your own plus embassy documentation on white ops as all they can do is kick you out the country.
Or a fake passport for black ops. So if anything goes wrong you can attempt to get out the country. Especially a major rail and plane hub like Paris.
I also can't see why suicide bombers would carry them unless they were to be placed to one side to be found and used for credit. But them having them suggests something about who trained them. Or that there was a back up plan if it went wrong. Or maybe they're just planted. But that's my input.

To be honest I thought so as well. I couldn't see the soviets going ahead with that. Americans and or the Vatican yes. But I thought i'd throw it into the discussion. Another view and all that. There is definitely something odd though.

Well said. I don't argue with everything said on here but its interesting to see different ideas and fit things together in a different way.

Trust me franky no one is sitting in the bars or restaurants of Moscow and st Petersburg thinking what do the west think. State tv has spent the last few years programming the people to be anti west. They trust Putin.

If your suggesting we blew up our own plane to influence western public opinion then no. No one in Russia cares what the west thinks.
If your suggesting we blew up our own plane to sell going after Isis to the Russian public. We already were. We've all seen putins speech.

1. Shaylor has always been a loudmouth and talks far too much for someone in the know. Especially as he's ex mi5 and talking about things that never involved him.
2. If its the same person Frith isn't his real name.
3. Paris has a lot of safe houses. And its a major rail and plane hub. Perfect place for someone leaving Britain to go.
4. I've been saying all week it was the Saudis. And yes people in the intelligence services have been saying the same.
5. Mi5 wouldn't instruct mossad to do anything. Mainly because foreign operations are outside of mi5s remit. You would mean mi6. But your also forgetting mossad doesn't take orders from any foreign agency. Mossad in the wider community are known as uncooperative headcases. To use an Americanism they are assholes.
5. Mossad has nothing to do with Saudi arabia. They have their own people for stuff like that.
