reydelmundo, feel free to criticise Islam in a civic way, but I struggle to think why would you want to insult it? It's below human to insult things which are held in high esteem by millions of people.
The reason people struggle to understand the global problem related to Islam is because they haven't paid attention to the shift in global power around WWI. Islam, like communism and many other ideologies, was going to be an obstacle in the globalist hegemony of Anglo-American capitalists. A plan was therefore devised to split up the Ottoman and Mughal empires. The turmoil that started then has snowballed into the issues we see today.

It's a very valid observation that foreign aid, in the context of corrupt regimes, is useless, and even counter productive. However we should acknowledge that foreign aid is not a product of altruism and global responsibility but rather an instrument to uphold western control via extremely corrupt and brutal state actors.
Aid, education, development by democracy are the most advanced tools in the hands of neoconservative western regimes. They come with hideous strings attached and normally act as precursors for a determined campaign under which the 3rd world country must yield total control to the imperial masters.
