Any info would be appreciated. I bought a 20 plate car about 5 months ago, today the engine decided it was hungry I suppose and tried to eat a spark plug. Not done anything good for the engine lol. The way I see it, I talk to Vauxhall see what they they as the spark plug has failed before manufacture guidelines for replacement causing serious damage to the engine 33k miles.

I talk to the garage I bought it from as the garage which has found the issue also says for this to happen the engine must of been burning oil to cause the failure of the spark plug which means I was sold a car with a serious problem.

The finance company as I have a car for 5 months which is not fit for purpose after 5 months and less than 1k travel per month. The warranty company which if they don't weasel out of their responsibility will no doubt be capped at an amount which won't cover the costs or do I have to suck it up? Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

{Ed033's Note - At a guess, immediately try to work out if the warranty covers what you want to claim for. Then whether you can figure out if are covered or not immediately phone your insurance company's claims number. You have to follow the claim guidelines in your insurance documents. Your insurance company should tell you your closest authorised garage if you're covered.

If you're not covered, you could try to look online for what the legal stance is for your situation, which is easier said than done, but you may find a similar example to your situation [on a forum?] where the affected party threatened legal action on the responsible party.

If you can't find this, then you could attempt to get some free legal advice from citizens advice bureau or maybe a solicitor can initially tell you whether it's worth a solicitor helping you.

Keep us informed of how things go, p1. Sounds like you're in a really unfair position. Hoping you get things sorted out without you losing out, as that's how it should be. Fingers crossed for you ?

Don't think I've seen this on here before sorry if it has been previously discussed. Maybe here is a reason we are seeing egg shortages

{Ed032's Note - Thanks, p1. It rings a bell but don't believe this article has been posted before.

As a side note I think the infusions might be a little expensive. I believe on subscribe and save they are £14.40 per bottle approx 60l of water,in which it seems we will use over 1 per month probably between 1 and 1.5. I'm not sure how they equates to other systems and using your own minerals etc. I've seen they are planning to release 3 more infusions to make 5 different types with more most likely in planning to be released at a later date. At the moment my only criticism as such is the cost of these infusion bottles but that maybe harsh compared to other systems im not aware of.

{Ed032's Note - Thanks, p1. I purchased the megahome-distillers infusions but I don't use them. I just put some lemon juice, apple cider vinegar (inc mother) and I will be adding a wee pinch of Celtic salts or, I drink it without adding anything. Some people say that drinking plain distilled water purges the body of elements, which is true, but only the inorganic elements you don't want any way.

I do sometimes use electrolyte tablets after a run, but not often. I'd rather know exactly what I am putting in my body and work out what it needs and when it needs it. The subject of health is a lifelong journey. The more you know the more you realise there is to know. The thing is, everyone is different. A beautiful thing bit it means everyone's bodies need slightly different amounts of things.

I am guessing, but the ROM is an 'om demand' tap?. This would be the only criticism I would have of a distiller, is the fact it runs for 4-5 hours. You can access the distilled water at anytime though.

The strikes are what they are people asking for a fair pay deal to help compensate for the high cost of living.

p1

{Ed032's Note - No one is saying different, p1. The reason they are having to do that though, is all part of the plan. The LE false narrative. The bringing about of the collapse of the systems.

I've just ordered the skuma ro unit which you then re mineralise with their infusions was on offer and able to use split it for interest free instalments. I'm hoping it's enough to purify the tap water

p1

{Ed032's Note - Hi, p1. They are good and I know of people that use them. They are not as expensive to run as a distiller, either.

{Ed032's Note - Hi, p1. There is probably a better video on these emergency landings. This was sourced quickly so I apologise for the boredom ;) You could always increase the playback speed to get through the video quicker.
