Would just like to ask anyone who has been slagging off Scientologists ( I am not a scientologist by the way they are a creepy cult but then again so are all religions).
It makes me laugh that everyone on here bad mouthing Scientologists yet I bet if you saw a Christian or a Jew or Muslim you would think nothing of them yet their religious beliefs are probably just as crazy or their control techniques just as ridiculous.
Scientology believes an alien overlord imrpisoned for many years by his generals is the creator of life and we have these celestial beings who attach themselves to us.
Christaianity beleives a man god made 2 fish and a loaf of bread fed 500 people and he walked on water came back from the dead blah blah blah.
Muslims believe in a warlord called Mohammed who basically ransacked villages in god knows what century and kept a ten year old girl as a sex slave ( yes it is in the Koran before anyonbe says im racist which im not).
Jews would rather watch their child die than give a simple blood transfusion.
Its all just silly nonsense setup over years to grab money from people who believe by giving this money somehow they will get into heaven and live an eternity of peace.
For f***s sake Christianity has its own country governed by their own rules and their own police forces.
Scientology was just some story made up by a guy which some dumbasses took seriously and before you know it he was making some money.At least they didnt go on a crusade killing thousands so personally if you have some religios gripes I wouldnt worry so much about a relatively small group like Scientology more like the powerhouse of Christianity.
Another religious Query that I hope the eds will look into which I was told that makes you think.
If god and the devil made a pact to only influence through non direct tactics and that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was too make people believe he wasnt real.
And with all the evil that has been created by religion and religious tensions (basically every war ever, Paedophilia is rife,historic tortures and greed making money of people desperate to be with god,hell they even run the country during points).I am sure there is much I cant even begin to remember wouldnt it make sense RELIGION IS THE PRODUCT OF THE DEVIL.

No seriously you make a good point about maybe its all make believe kept alive by the desire for the end not to be the end and abused by people in power.
People are so quick to say about New world orders and powerful companies ruling the world but and I would bet my life on this they do not wield a third of the power that these so called religions do.Think about how many Christians there are in the world I mean the Americas themselves are basically all Christian Countries and they have lik 1.5 billion thats just them.
If you were trying to control the masses surely looking at religion would be a good standing point.
Personally when are people going to speak out about the attrocities committed by people of the church most recently finding out that the pope himself gave orders to cover up mass paedophilia how is that Godly thats disgusting.
Thats like David Cameron saying lets cover up paedophila whilst your sons getting touched up the Country would have him hung by his ballsac.Yet this pope who rightly so should be protected by bullet proof glass and his own personally chosen army no one really says anything about it he has just admitted to protecting paedophiles and no government says a word.

As for the rest, the world is unfortunately made up of groups of people. Leaders and followers. Gullible and not so gullible. Religious and non religious.
Everyone of these innumerable groups should be entitled to do what they want as long as nobody is getting hurt form the direct or indirect actions.
As you know though this is not the case. Rich get richer by exploiting the poorer and the weaker. Why does this happen? Because we allow it to.
Consider this, if a person suddenly thought "I'm going to host a seminar on conspiracy theory. I'm going to hire a big stadium" on the day of the seminar the stadium is full of fellow theorists. Seminar is a huge success and so he does it again then again and again. Before you know it the person running the seminar is viewed as some sort of great leader and thinker.
At this point it is not inconceivable to imagine that you could Bourne a religion out of conspiracy theory. All you would need is a spiritual angle to tie all of your views together and you COULD form a religion.
Religions aren't bad per say, it the fanatical interpretations and translations that end up causing the problems.

Its true, I know people who arent religios but still refer to muslims as 'them' and when its December they say 'our' chrismas, things like that. I look at chritians, muslims, jews, scientologists, jehovas as all as equally deluded as the next. There could be something more to life, I accept that, but its relegions with their fairy stories and mass donations to elite families and movements that people blatantly beleive and devote their lives to which i cant comprehend. If there is something out there or someone, you must accept that it could be evil not good, think of an innocent baby that dies of cancer for instance..........

There is no god , there is no devil . Dopamine fairytales for the masses is what all religions are . Think about the amount of different religions that have or do exist , not one of them has any evidence of their respective dieties but claim millenia old ,mistranslated and retranslated fiction as alluding to fact . Religion is intellectually dishonest , socially unacceptable and not required . What kind of places would Baghdad , Beruit and Belfast be without religion ?
As for Scientology , if all the worlds religions were schoolchildren in a class , it would be sitting at the back of the class licking the paint off of the window frames . Founded by a corrupt homophobe who spent most of his intellect on writing Z-rate science fiction , it is designed to make MONEY . Nothing more , nothing less .

Im in agreement with all the above why distinguish one as more stupid than the other and to be honest Ron Hubbard wrote his religion as I believe an unpublished story book then people high on LSD believed it and he made money at least he didnt use his power to start wars or anything.
Oh and Jews are not allowed transfusions or tattoos or donor body parts as it is against their religion a Woman died after giving birth to twins up my end and a simple transfusion would have saved her but because her family were strict religious types they let their grandchildrens mother just die based on nothing but writings in a book that is how powerful religion is.

It would make more sense that the ultimate good (ie- Christianity) be created by ultimate evil to fool people into evil.Now I see people dont like the use of Devil and God but this can be polluted into many forms and I just feel that somewhere along the lines these POWERHOUSES of Religion will force a hand of something and the masses will follow.
