Just quickly wanted to post also about phones. The other day Siri (my wife doesn't really use it) told my wife that she was 1.6 miles from home. She doesn't have home as a contact and can't remember enabling it for whatever reason. I know it uses gps but can Siri store this information on your movements or relay information to a data collection system?

{Ed001's Note - yes, and many other things as well. It literally records everything you do that is within its capability to ascertain.}
It's scary that corporations/ the establishment know exactly where you are, who your with and even what your doing. Thankfully my iphone has an option to turn off location services which I always turn off. I'm not so sure that in the future this option will be there so if you have a smart phone the establishment will have a lot of data on you.
{Ed001's Note - you know it doesn't actually switch that off? Just stops 3rd party apps having access to the info.}
